I have never believed the fantasy "fact" from the Left, that Trump has lost too much of his base to get re-elected. Turns out that this is simply a lie.

AOL:   Despite the controversies surrounding Donald Trump, a Democratic strategist has stated that the president “has a clear path to winning reelection.”

As Doug Sosnik, who used to advise former President Bill Clinton, elaborated in a recent Washington Post op-ed, “If Trump isn’t removed from office and doesn’t lead the country into some form of global catastrophe, he could secure a second term simply by maintaining his current level of support with his political base.”

He goes on to point out that Trump, who has maintained his base of supporters, could take advantage of the fact that he doesn’t necessarily need to win the popular vote and that the weakened two-party system could lead to more fractured voting.

Editor:  At some point in time,  the GOP leadership is going to be forced to admit to itself that Trump is more popular than they  (or any of the Democrat leadership as well),  and,  because of his staying power,  it is best to work with the man.  Or they can continue to play "keep away,"  let children are want to do,  and be overwhelmed in losing the internal battle for the GOP.  Whatever.

  1. hahaha... good luck with that.
No president has ever been reelected with an approval at 48% or below. Trump's approval has never been as high at 48% one time. Below 40% now and through most of his presidency.

    1. Kind of silly comment. Trumps RCP polling numbers averaged 44>2 percent the day before the 2016 elections. If he can be elected with those numbers, of course he can be re-elected with those numbers as well.
