Federal prosecutors say, "Mueller may find that a crime relating to Trump, was not committed."

FBI special counsel Robert Mueller must meet a high bar to prove criminal conduct in his probe of possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia — and might not bring charges at all, according to two former high-profile prosecutors.
In a joint interview at Vanity Fair's New Establishment Summit, Sally Yates, the former acting attorney general, and Preet Bharara, the former Manhattan U.S. attorney – both fired by President Donald Trump – said Mueller's Russia investigation is challenging,
"I know a lot of people are sort of putting all their hopes into Bob Mueller. And I've got tremendous confidence in Bob Mueller," Yates said, the Journal reported.

"But the fact of the matter is, he's going to determine whether there's proof beyond a reasonable doubt that felonies were committed, that crimes were committed that can be used for prosecution or impeachment."

Mueller "is not going to answer the question of whether anything bad happened here," she added.

Bharara agreed it is possible Mueller "may not decide that there is an offense to be charged or referred to the House of Representatives for impeachment."

  1. There were no major news reports about the dossier yesterday or today

  2. Now, you KNOW your comment is so much barnyard. The fact of the matter is this: The news concerning the Dossier was shocking. Two members of the enemy working for FUSION GPS, refused to answer a single question, taking the 5th on all that was asked of them. Clearly, FUSION is hiding something big, and that has the Dems in a major sweat. The entire Dossier is phony. There is no confirmation of any of the Dossier claims. Now, Congress wants to know who is responsible for making up all the crap written into the Dossier. Maybe this has to do with why Democrat prosecutors are now telling the world that Mueller will not find any "impeachable" evidence, You can bet that this epic failure will be used against the Dems in the coming elections. Take it to the bank. Drip, drip, drip.

  3. FUSION GPS testified before the Senate committee for several hours, Grassley said he would release the transcript, he didn't. Hide the truth. Fear.

    1. The two who have never testified are Thomas Catan and Peter Fritisch. Try to keep up. The probe is falling apart and will be used against the Dems in 2018. Bet on it.
