OPINION | Forget Don Jr.'s email — it's Hillary Clinton who ‘colluded’ with Russia
— The effort to prove collusion between the Trump campaign and the
Russian government has proven to be little more than a conspiracy theory
desperately in search of evidence. With only “rumors... newspapers
stories...
The article contains these lies:
ReplyDelete1) Manafort and Kushner disclosed the meeting. Fails to mention they disclosed only after they received word the NYT had been investigating the meeting.
2) Trump Jr. disclosed the emails. Fails to mention he disclosed only after he received word the NYT had the emails.
3) Long debunked Clinton - Russia uranium story. http://www.politifact.com/wisconsin/article/2017/feb/16/donald-trump-repeats-his-mostly-false-claim-about-/
4) The Clinton so called collusion does not compare with Trump collusion: the Trump campaign—including staffers now employed in the White House by the president—worked with a hostile government whose leaders attempted to influence and disrupt the election with cyberattacks. The Clinton story is about officials in an embassy passing along opposition research to a Democratic operative and reporters. The two episodes are not close to being the same. Not even close.
Your points 3 and 4 are proven to be nothing but lies. Here is the record taken from the NY Times, "Cash Flowed to Clinton Foundation Amid Russian Uranium Deal"
DeleteBy JO BECKER and MIKE McINTIREAPRIL 23, 2015
"As the Russians gradually assumed control of Uranium One in three separate transactions from 2009 to 2013, Canadian records show, a flow of cash made its way to the Clinton Foundation. Uranium One’s chairman used his family foundation to make four donations totaling $2.35 million. Those contributions were not publicly disclosed by the Clintons, despite an agreement Mrs. Clinton had struck with the Obama White House to publicly identify all donors. Other people with ties to the company made donations as well."
Manafort and Kushner amended their congressional forms to include this meeting back in April, nearly three months ago. No talk of "treason" back then. So how does adding Junior to the equation, a non-member of the Trump staff, change anything?
