Remember Maddow's big news break? Trump's two page tax form from 2005? It shot her ratings into the stratosphere? Well, looks like that was a temporary "fix."
Fox News Channel finished the first quarter of 2017 with the
highest-rated quarter ever in cable news history in 24-hour viewership,
proving that the Trump era is resulting in must-see TV.
Fox News finished No. 1 among all of cable in both primetime and
total day viewership.
Fox News averaged 1.7 million total day viewers, compared
to 823,000 for CNN and 776,000 for MSNBC. MSNBC showed the most growth by a significant margin, but still finishes a distant third, proof of how far in the dumpster was this Stepchild of NBC.
MSNBC grew 55 percent compared to the first quarter of 2016, while Fox News grew 27 percent and CNN grew 13 percent.
Among the key demo of adults age 25-54, Fox News averaged 359,000 while CNN averaged 265,000 and MSNBC averaged 183,000
The noose is tightening around the neck of the president who said he 'would never see his properties while president because he would be at the White House working his ass off.' Trump has spend one of every 3 days as president at one of his properties, at our expense.
ReplyDeleteThis is an ad-free blog, I do not allow comments, except on rare occasions, although I get quite a number every day . . . . most of which are extremely immature.
DeleteThe anonymous comment, above, is one I receive fairly often. The comments about the Trump properties is as false as any lie told on the President. The democrat author wants us to believe that Trump works 2 days, then breaks for his "properties" on the third day . . . the implication being that the man does not work.
Of course that is not true. If he golfs on the weekend, so be it. He works 6am to 11pm on the days he is in the office. Barack was "in the office" no more than 60 days out of the first year. Most of his time was spent golfing and making 726 personal appearances. Trumps has already spent more time in the office than Barack did in this first year.
