So, are abortions all Planned Parenthood do?

Notes:  If they don't do prenatal care,  is PP only about abortions   . . . . . . .   and if they are aborting the kids,  why the hell do they call it "Planned Parenthood?"  

So,  if I shoot one of my kids,  can I claim "family planning reassessment" as a valid excuse?  ~  editor.

    Planned Parenthood has an ob/gyn on the call panel covering our emergency department. I've yet to call one for a delivery for an ER patient in four years. I continue to look forward to the day.

      In a very recent study, 91 out of 97 Planned Parenthood facilities do not offer prenatal care at all and are not the equipped to off such services. The remainder no longer offer this service or are "booked up" and cannot take new patients.

      Ditto for the Anonymous comment. I am an ER Doctor in the San Jose area and have a similar story. I would add that PP does not give mammograms, either. It appears that PP is all about birth prevention at whatever level including abortions, and little more.

      I was fired from Planned Parenthood for encouraging a young woman, very conflicted about her intended abortion, to wait on her decision. She could scarcely talk without crying. Very disappointed in PP. When you can't allow for a wounded conscience, your are cold hearted to a fault.
