Now that he is gone, his "approval" rating is high . . . . . . but not during his terms as president.

(CNSNews.com) - President Barack Obama had an average approval rating of 47.9 percent during his time in office, according to the Gallup poll.
That puts him behind Richard Nixon, who resigned, and George W. Bush, who saw his approval rating drop as low as 25 percent near the end of his term.
It puts him ahead of only Gerald Ford (47.2 percent), Jimmy Carter (45.5 percent) and Harry Truman (45.4 percent).
Gallup, in an analysis released Friday, published the average approval rating for all twelve presidents who have served since World War II.

  1. President Donald Trump's first job-approval rating is in, and they are the lowest an incoming president has ever received.

Only 45% of Americans approve of Trump's job performance over the first three days of his presidency, according to a Gallup survey released Monday. It's the first time a president has received an initial approval rating under 50% in the history of the poll, which dates back to Dwight Eisenhower's first term in 1953.

    1. His approval rating is more the work of an effective and subversive media than any other single factor. That is common knowledge. Let's see where we are by the end of the summer if not sooner.
