Trump Taxes Update: The headline is about one year; the NY Times story line is about 20 years. And no mention of Hillary becoming a multi-millionaire without having a job.

New York Times:
Trump Tax Records Obtained by The Times Reveal He Could Have Avoided Paying Taxes for Nearly Two Decades  —  Donald J. Trump declared a $916 million loss on his 1995 income tax returns, a tax deduction so substantial it could have allowed him to legally avoid paying any federal income taxes …
Editor's notes:  The key to the above headline is this single word, "legally"  as in "legally avoided paying taxes."  And,  in fact,  his taxes, to date,  are all about what is legal.  Every year.  Whether or not he paid any taxes is not the point.  The concern should be whether his deduction were legal.  Without looking at this taxes,  we KNOW that his tax returns are not an issue or  he would have been prosecuted by the IRS in any given year.  That is I need to know.
Was he ever prosecuted for being a tax cheat?  No.  Does the use of legal tax deductions make him a tax cheat?  No   . . . . . .   of course not. So,  why does the Hillary want his tax returns, knowing that he has never violated IRS tax law?  Why?  She wants to mine his returns for the sake of opposition research.  She wants to know who he did business with  . . . .  their names,  so that she can create a scenario in which he "found guilty" of all sorts of unprosecuted "crimes."
Contrast this storyline with the fact that Hillary Slinton made millions and millions and millions without having a job.  Seriously.  Giving speeches is not equal to having a job.  We all know that she did not become a multi-millionaire as an U.S. Senator or serving as Secretary of State.  So what was her job during all those years she "earned" millions and millions?  And why is the NY Times not vetting that reality?  And,  more importantly,  why is she not talking about her record?  She may not want to talk about her record,  but we do.
More on this in short order.
