Forget "Progressive" and "Establishment." It is the Ruler Class versus the rest of us . . . . and most of "us" don't give a damn.

Katie Bo Williams / The Hill:
Ecuador confirms it cut off Assange's internet over Clinton emails  —  The Ecuadorian government confirmed Tuesday that it cut off WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange's internet connection because of his anti-secrecy platform's publication of emails allegedly stolen from Hillary Clinton
Editor:  Just two weeks ago,  I was critical of Julian Assange, even to the point of agreeing with the loser,  John McCain, and the notion that Assange was a traitor to our (my) way of life.    I was critical,  until I heard the following quotable quote.  It is a shame that I did not think it important enough to remember who said it,  but the statement was made just this past week,  and it is this:
Julian Assange is a hero in view of the fact that the press no longer is willing to do its job.
Without whistle blowers and people like Assange,  we, the people who care,  would have no idea as to the antics and damnable policies of those who seek to control international,  national and even local government.
We vote the Ruling Class into power,  and, then, "they" do all they can to subvert any effort to vote them and/or their agenda out of power.  Since the fall of man, this has been the case.  In fact,  when you stop to think about it,  maybe,  just maybe,  the "Ruling Class" is an integrated aspect of man's overwhelming evil nature.
The Key To Being Happy and Free
Consider your personal life.  You have no need for governance when it comes to your plans and hopes and accomplished dreams.  In fact,  you have no thoughts about "government" when it comes to your daily affairs.  And I mean to say,  you don't even think about politics while getting ready for your days activities and living your life  . . . .  proving,  of course,  that you  (all of you whether Liberal or Conservative,  stinking Commun-ist or radical individualist - all 7800 of Midknight Review's readership, yesterday) agree with what I am saying,  implicitly or not.  We need law and order and international security,   but,   we do not need some jerk telling us what we may or may not teach our kids.   We don't need some socialist pig telling us who we can work for and who we must pay off for the right to work.  It really is my life and I intend to live as I see fit  . . . . .  and,  for the most,  I do this.  You are doing the same,  as well, if you stop to think about it.
It may surprise you,  but governance cannot subdue anyone's decision to be free  . . . .   even if the particular form of governance is repressive.  Needless to say,  if "governance" includes someone standing over you with a gun,  my point of view is challenged.  There is ISIS, after all.  But,  on the other hand,   there are those 100 million Christians in the repressive regime of Red China.  You get my point ???
John Kerry's decision to use the power of the US Government to persuade Ecuador to participate in and support the election of Hillary Clinton is evidence of the evil that is intrinsic in the very notion of "governance."  Assange has been silenced,  but,  to my point,  not before the damage has been done.  Hillary may win the election,  but not because of the silence of Assange.  And if the majority chooses to surrender their liberties to Hillary and her One World Without Borders,  agenda,  so be it.  The day after that election,  I will get up in the morning and accomplish what I have in mind,  for that day. I WILL  have an overwhelming peace of mind come hell or high water.
Freedom begins with and exists only (?) first and foremost  as a state of mind.   I can choose to be happy, regardless.   I can choose to work against those who would order my life by simply ignoring them.  I can secure my personal freedom,  by keeping my mind from surrender,  even as they lower me,  in a cage,  into a pool of water.
And the John Kerry's of the world, ultimately and categorically,  have no bearing on my decision  (I said,  "decision") to be free.
Point of Post:  If I allow the politics of the moment to rob me of my personal happiness,  I become a lesser man,  a miserable husband,  and raving manic of a friend.  So I have to "knock it off."   I will continue to write and be critical.  I will continue to play the game,  But I will no longer surrender my peace of mind to the Ruling Class and their evil intentions.  Join me as we try to change the world.  Join me in the pursuit of happiness.  Just don't let it all "get to you."
