Any chance Trump can win the election? Well, YES !!!!! Here is why.

After all the scandals,  eight days of negative headlines per day,  eight days of blaming Trump for the 1970's Watergate breakin ("What did he know and when did he know it?'), developing a campaign coalition between himself and the Russians versus Mrs. Clinton, being accused of groping a woman on an inflight plane with passengers on the crowded plan watching and, yet,  somehow,  no witnesses;  being accused of groping a woman in a crowded bar,  in the middle of the day,  and,  again,  with no witnesses  (heck,  the woman can't even remember which club she was in nor any of her friends she was with)  . . . . .   after all this and much much more,  Trump has opened up a slight 1/2 point lead over Hillary in the LA Times poll.  You know he should be 20 points behind, right?

The Times poll is significant.  In 2012,  it was the only poll to pick Obama as the winner (no surprise, here) AND the margin of victory.  It is, also,  the most unique of the polls.  The Times surveys from the same group of 3,000 likely voters,  in the L.A. basin.  Understand that the region is not "white man's territory," but rather,  an area known for its racial diversity  . . . .   more so than any other region in the United States.

The poll's uniqueness is found in fact that it measures changing opinions about the presidential race within the same group of people  . . . . . .   and the size of the survey  (2,500 to 2,850 people each day), adds a sense of consistency that is simply not present in completing polls  . . . .   and Trump has led in this poll more often than not.
