It turns out that CNN/ORC poll of debate watchers
released last night, almost immediately following the conclusion of the Townhall, sampled only 537 folks, 58% of them being Democrats and the remaining 42% divided between Independents and Republicans.
At the end of the CNN interview with Kellyann Conway, and while the camera held Kelly in its sights, Wolfe Blitzer claimed the CNN poll to be scientific, and proof that Hillary was the victor . . . . . by a startling 57 / 34 margin.
I was personally glad they pushed this silly poll forward as a "factual" representation of public opinion. I felt their idiot poll was a mistake at the very moment Blitzer confirmed the poll's claim. To my pleasure, and, to nobody's surprise, the poll has proven to be nothing more than a childish/transparent effort at saying, "My mother is tougher than your Dad." No other poll has provided a similar margin of victory (not even close), proving CNN and it's election coverage to be a pathetic substitute for journalistic news.
The fact that the poll was immediately released, following the debate's conclusion is, also, evidence that the Left knew Hillary got her lunch handed to her, and, they knew it even before the debate was concluded.
Time will tell if Trump accomplished the impossible, but he certainly gave it his best effort. Most of us understand that he is still [very much] the underdog, but what can you do except to hope for the best.
Here is the good news. If we lose the election, we can all change our names to something that sounds Hispanic, claim to be immigrants from Honduras, and live the good life for free, at the do-gooder hands of the Democrat elitists. Heck, some of us will even be able to get away with murder.
Fernando, here, signing off for the evening.
