LONG GOODBYE: Obama to play more active role in race to succeed him than any outgoing president in history...
Editor's notes: No fear. Barack has no "coattails." If you understand that "coattails" refers to his ability to effect the election of others, you understand what I am saying. Don't agree? Well, think about 2010 and (especially) 2014. If you remember, it was during the 2014 midterms that Barack said, "Make no mistake, my agenda is a part of this election," and his party took the worst election beating in a 100 years . . . . literally. So, again I say, "Obama has no coattails." So let him campaign. It will hurt much more than it will help . . . . . . . guaranteed.
Just wait til Obama and Bernie start stumping for Hillary... you''ll see what happens. We have a popular president, Obama is...

If anyone had won the GOP nomination other than Trump, I would argue with you. His popularity numbers mean nothing. He ius upside down on nearly all of his agenda items and he couldn't save the House in 2010 nor the House and the Senate in 2014 . . . so I am not worried about Barack.
DeleteYou better be worried... he is 66% approval in the youth vote. He can't wait to go after Trump -the "father of birtherism" and bigotry in this election cycle. He can't wait, and he speaks well. Go get em Barack. The GOP is finished. They've pretty much conceded the presidency and are just hoping to retain congress. They won't.
DeleteLike I said, the man could not prevent 2010 and the monster landslide in 2014 plus he lost 4.5 million votes to Romney and the stay-at-home crowd in 2012 versus his 2008 campaign. You need to be worried.
DeleteI am concerned . . . . . about our blowhard of a candidate, but Hillary is not much better as a candidate. I do know that if Trump can't stay on message, the GOP is going to lose and I am going fishing, biking, and set up a wood shop and return to my cabinet construction days . . . . just for the fun of it.
