I am not going to take the time to source my information in this post. You will just have to trust me, or, get off your duff, and google for the same sources I have read.
The first of the year (2016), the Republican Congress gave Obama a two year extension for the implementation of the 40% Cadillac tax. This tax was on track to be one of the hottest election year issues of 2016. The Unions had already told Obama to go to hell, and, stood in open rebellion to his decision to tax Union members for their high quality health insurance policies, a tax that would have added 40% to the monthly premiums due for each policy.
Rather than allow this to become an issue, the GOP took this "off the table" for the campaign season, and drove another nail in the anti-ObamaCare efforts, at the same time. This is part of the reason I no longer care who wins the coming election.
To add to my misery, it was reported, Wednesday of this week, that the GOP Congress, also, passed legislation that strengthened the EPA as a federal agency weaponized against the common man, his business and property owners. Pathetic and as hypocritical an action as a party can get.
Expect to see a fair and balanced attack on the Right as I go after the Left. What a joke these people have become. Very disappointing.
I don't blame you at all. Add this question: When was the last time the GOP actually worked for smaller government . . . . and we fall for that BS every time.
