Latest Quinnipiac national poll: Hillary 45%, Trump 41%.

Understand that turnout is key to this (Quinnipiac) polling conclusion.  More than this,  the election will turn on the results in the 8 to 10 "battle ground" states including Florida,  Ohio,  New Jersey, Virginia, and Massachusetts.

Typically,  national polls are rather meaningless.  The candidate,  for example,  gets no more electoral votes for a 40 point victory in California versus a 2 point victory.  But a 40 point win would screw the popular vote while not adding an electoral advantage.

In 2000,  Gore won the popular vote but lost in the Electoral College.  Dems cry about this "injustice,"  but had Gore won either his home state of Tennessee or Bill Clinton's Arkansas,  he would have won with the electoral vote.

So much for national polling.

  1. Making America Great. Trump University salespeople were instructed to suggest that potential customers rely heavily on credit card debt or retirement funds to pay for the classes. One Trump University sales manager, Ronald Schnackenberg, testified that he was reprimanded for not trying hard enough to sell Trump University’s $35,000 “Elite” program . “I did not feel it was an appropriate program for them because of their precarious financial condition—they had no money to pay for the program, but would have had to pay for the program using his disability income and taking out a loan based upon equity in his apartment.”

Trump said he’d raised $6 million for veterans, but that wasn’t true. He later claimed he never used the $6 million figure, but that wasn’t true. His campaign insisted Trump had contributed $1 million himself, but that wasn’t true. Trump said he “didn’t want to have credit” for the fundraising efforts, but that wasn’t true. He said he and his team were vetting groups they’d never heard of four months after the fact, but that wasn’t true. Trump only started cutting checks to a variety of groups after the Washington Post published a story.

If this happened to Hillary Clinton, is there any doubt it would be the #1 issue in the presidential race between now and Election Day? That every pundit in America would use this as Exhibit A in their takes on why Americans just can’t trust the Democrat?

Be proud.... Trump has just been endorsed by N. Korea.

    1. This blog does not endorse Donald Trump. All I can say, "At least he is not a One World socialist." Anything you say about Trump University has a corresponding and serious negative with Hillary. You simply cannot frame this debate in terms that give Hillary a moral advantage. Might as well stop trying.
