If he is going to quit this nonsense, it won't happen until after the polls show him losing ground. He has spent considerable time making fun of Romney as the loser of the 2012 election.
Guess what? He is on a glide path to defeat, himself. And when he is done, he goes back to his gold palace, his stanchest fans stock up on chew, and, the country turns Left , for ever.
It's over. He just lost the Hispanic vote forever.
ReplyDeleteKudos to Republican Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, who today urged Republicans who have backed Donald Trump to rescind their endorsements, citing Trump's remarks about Judge Curiel and Trump's expression of doubt on Sunday that a Muslim judge could remain neutral in the same lawsuit (given Mr. Trump’s proposed ban on Muslim noncitizens entering the country).
“This is the most un-American thing from a politician since Joe McCarthy,” Graham said. “If anybody was looking for an off-ramp, this is probably it,” he added. “There’ll come a time when the love of country will trump hatred of Hillary.”
If Trump continues his crap rhetoric, the only hope for the GOP is that he will self destruct enough to all public opinion to support disallowing his candidacy.
DeleteEven worse... I predict things will get so shitty for him that after tanking in the polls, fielding continuous criticism, and continuing with his legal and tax troubles, he'll withdraw his candidacy, leave the GOP in crisis and then... go back to his gold palace. Typical of a thin skinned narcissist.
ReplyDeleteYou heard it here first.
