Clinton leads Trump by just 4 pts per CNN. Could be worse. As a matter of fact, it was worse last week.

CNN:  Clinton continues to lead Trump when Gary Johnson of the Libertarian Party and Jill Stein of the Green Party are included in the list of options. Nationwide in that match-up, Clinton holds 42%, Trump 38%, Johnson 9% and Stein 7%.

Editor's notes:  Understand that Trump lost 6 to 8 points because of all that crap he pulled regarding the Hispanic judge,  three weeks ago. If his downward trend is as profound as it has been over the course of the last two weeks,  there is the real possibility that he could lose the nomination as the GOP Establishment gathers steam,  changes the rules of the convention,  pushes him out.  But,  if he continues to repair what he lost,  there will be no effective rebellion.
If his polling numbers show him behind Clinton 12 to 15 points by the time of the RNC,  however,  I believe he will be pushed out.

Of course that will end any chance of the GOP capturing the Presidency,  but,  it will help in the fight to save the Senate.
