In the meantime (waiting for the results of New Hampshire), I am working on my wood yard, today, stacking and cutting for next years burn season. Burned about 2.5 cords, this year . . . . oak, almond and fruit wood of some kind.
We have a 32 panel solar system and our insert/fire box keeps the house at 69 degrees with very little assist from our central air unit. Going into our third season with solar and still learning how to manage the system. We have a 20 year lease (it is transferable to a second homeowner should we sell) that costs $210 a month. Last year we averaged $260 a month counting the lease but we had to come up with $1800 to cover the true-up bill. almost all of that cost accrued during the winter, especially January.
Now that PG&E's hidden costs are known (this is how liberals manage ALL their programs . . . one hidden cost after another) , we should be able to eliminate the "true-up" cost and actually realize substantial savings . . . . . but I have to cut, split, stack and import wood for that to happen . . . . . a good thing for this old man (70 years and counting). It keeps me in shape, such as it is, and gets me out of the house. Two hours a day keeps my metabolism at an efficient level, that and my 1400 calorie forever diet (damn !).
Its not liberal policies that are the problem. Try capitalism and the greed it fosters.

Think about it, the 156 million dollar woman campaigning as the "champion of the middle class," or, the 15 million dollar man, Obama, "working for the common man" Their policies have ruined the middle class, caused the small business sector to lose more companies than were created during the Obama years, shortened the work week, driven up the cost of heating your home (on the East coast), and approved deals with the existential enemies of many of our allies. You people are a dangerous joke.
