The paper has an hour long "documentary" against its long time enemy, Donald Trump, complete with additional hours of sidebar stories. That is what is getting ready to happen to the Donald.
Bad news if this was about anyone but Trump.
First, he is the only hardball politician the GOP has had in my life-time. Throw trash at him, and he will definitely throw it back in spades.
Secondly, do you all understand just how much dirt is piled in the Clinton's backyard? I would not be surprised to hear that the Clinton's and the DNC are begging the Times to hold off on such stories. Guaranteed, Trump's history is not as morbid as the Clinton's. But, it is all past history. Will it be left in the past? Not a chance in 800 hells. The Clintons and the DNC have never run a campaign that was not full of sleaze, outright lies, and half truths. There is no doubt in my mind, that Trump is not intimidated in the least.
Understand that Rubio is my choice, but if it is Trump, Hillary is the choice that will transform this nation as she confirms all of Obama's illicit behavior during the past eight years.
Sadly, this election is stacking up to be the dirtiest election cycle in the modern age (since FDR). Add the same time, it could be fun, depending on who wins out in the end. For certainly, our political world is about to change. Get ready for the ride.
This is all very good news because Trump IS the GOP nominee. Unstoppable.
ReplyDelete"Trump may be with the working class, but he is unpopular with voters who have graduated from college, a group without whose backing the GOP has no shot at regaining the White House."
-- The Federalist
Further, Trump has alienated women and every sub group, including minorities. Trump is popular with the uneducated and with the fearful white bigots. Trump is retweeting messages from white supremacists. 70% of Trump supporters support the confederate flag. That's today's GOP in a nutshell, racist and stupid.
Important !! Trump does NOT support the Confederate flag. Trump graduated from college. Trump grew his wealth from $1 million gift from his dad to 4 - 10 billion dollars. I am a college grad as is all of my friends. None of us prefer Trump, but he will be a hell of a lot better than Hillary.

I have no plans to read your referenced link. Why? Because we know nothing about what Trump would do, making a comparison to Hillary an impossibility. But we do know that Hillary is, now, running as a third term Obama and we know what a disaster that has been . . . most lawless president in our history with Hillary coming in next?
DeleteIf, indeed, she will be an Obama third term, Trump could not possibly be worse.
Obama a third term? Just terrible... markets up, unemployment down, gas prices low, 14 million private sector jobs created, US soldiers NOT being killed daily like under Bush, and for what?
DeleteThe only people who can't see these as successes are the white ignorant bigots. And for them, there's this: take America Back ! https://youtu.be/oqZaQKskP-A
Not true at all: Factcheck.org : "He embellished his record on jobs, citing “more than 14 million new jobs,” without mentioning that’s only private sector jobs and only since the job losses hit bottom in February 2010. [In other words, the 14 million number does not include the 6 to 10 million jobs lost during the first year of the recession . . . in other words net job creation is more along the lines of 5 to 8 million jobs create ~editor]. Gave Iraq back to the terrorists in total disregard for the 4500 American soldiers who gave their lives to win that war . . . which they did. Highest food stamp population in history, but the economy is booming . . right? Lowest job-force participation rate since the days of Jimmy Carter. A GDP seven year average of 1.4 % in real production numbers. BTW, we are currently in a recessionary period and the Stock Market has been crashing for nearly two months now. Pull your head out and join the literate population.
DeleteObama similarly omitted part of his presidency in boasting of nearly 900,000 manufacturing jobs “in the past six years.” Over his entire time in office, manufacturing jobs have gone down by 230,000."
And if a Republican had done this?

A Republican did much better and his name was Reagan. Reagan had to deal with a far worse recession than Obama. Interest rates rose to nearly 20% and unemployment went to 13%, all due to Carter's inability to deal with the economy of our nation. That was the first two years of Reagan. His job-creation record after that was nothing short of outstanding: nearly 20 million more Americans were employed when he left office than when the recession ended. Overall, including the recession on his watch, Reagan’s net job growth over eight years was 16.1 million. I emphasize "net." Obama brags about 14 million jobs, but does not count the jobs lost in 2009 . . . a total of between 6 and 9 million making his net job creation between 5 and 8 million. Real (inflation-adjusted) median household income shot up some ten percent in the Reagan years. It has flatlined under Obama. And real GDP under Reagan was 3.4% while Obama's record GDP average is 1.7%. In fact, we are currently in a recessionary period . In the last year of Reagan, the economy was booming and, again, 20 million more Americans were working than when Reagan took office, compared to 5 million for Obama.
