Alexander Bolton / The Hill:
Senate approves bill repealing much of ObamaCare
— The Senate on Thursday passed legislation repealing the core pillars
of ObamaCare, taking a major step toward sending such a bill to the
president's desk for the first time. — Republicans hailed it as a
political messaging victory
"Since Ronald Reagan, the leadership has plunged so far into the pockets of the very rich and the corporate sector that they can attract votes only by mobilizing sectors of the population that have not previously been an organized political force, among them extremist evangelical Christians, now probably the majority of Republican voters; remnants of the former slave-holding States; nativists who are terrified that “they” are taking our white Christian Anglo-Saxon country away from us" - N C, MIT
ReplyDeleteEvangelicals represent about 20% of the GOP vote. There is an increasing ethnic diversity within the GOP putting the Old White People in the Democrat Party to shame. And no one goes after the rich fat cats as successfully as the Marxist Dems . . . . no one. At least until now. In 2008, Obama took in 1 billion dollars in campaign donations compared to McCain's 500,000 -- a 2 to 1 advantage. Didn't hear the Dems crying back then. 60% of Wall Street CEO's are "progressives." Citizens United (the Supreme Court decision that gave advertising rights to corporations) only added balance to the extremely influential and wealthy labor unions, teacher unions, auto unions (GM, Subaru), utilities (PG&E, here in California, gives millions to progressive cause and campaigns, each year. 70% of the richest men in America are Dems.
DeleteTry to keep up. If that is too much for you, well, you will just have to try harder. I have no intentions of publishing your cut-and-paste, in the future.
