Reid hopes to filibuster vote on Iranian deal, proving just how feckless is our form of governance.

Democrats will try to mount a filibuster to block the Iran nuclear deal from even having to reach President Obama’s desk for a veto.  Understand that a "filibuster" is nothing more than extended floor discussion,  in the Senate.  There are no time limits as to this discussion,  and every Senator has the right to voice an opinion.  To end this discussion,  it takes 60 votes.  If that does not happen,  the discussion can continue forever, and,  that,  boys and girls,  is a "filibuster."

It takes 60 votes to end "floor discussion" in the Senate,  that is,  when the rules are in play.  When Reid was Senate leader,  he often did not follow the rules,  however.  ObamaCare,  if you remember,  was passed with 51 votes,  not the required 60.

Reid believes that Mitch McConnell cannot come up with 60 votes.

This whole Iranian deal has shown the GOP for what they are,  morons who cannot compete with the conniving and outright lies of the Democrat party.

I am not a Republican,  never have been.  And, now,  I say that with a great deal of pride.  I actually hate "stupid."  That's why I despise Sharpton;  him being black is of no import to me.  He could be an Apache Chief,  I wouldn't care.  But he is both stupid and deceptive  . . . . .   can't abide that combination.

Anyway,  the American people do not want this Iranian deal,  but no one in leadership gives a damn about "we the people."  This is why we need to throw the bums out.
