Mission Statement: This blog reviews the news of the day in light of 242 years of American history. "Nationalism," a modern day pejorative, has been our country's politic throughout history, until 2008. Obama changed that narrative. Trump is seeking a return to our historical roots. Midknight Review supports this return to normality.
Obama says he can walk away from the Iranian talks. Of course, we all know that is not true.
Bloomberg reports: As negotiations with Iran enter the closing phase, President Barack
Obama said he’s still prepared to walk away from the talks if the
Islamic Republic can’t meet the terms set out by the U.S. and its
partners.
Editor's notes: The key, here, is the word "terms." They should be non-negotiable but they are not, if we can believe recent reports. What I have in mind is the requirement to have unannounced inspections of all nuclear facilities in Iran including military installations. It goes without saying that this particular "term" for agreement, is an absolute necessity.
Obama has proven to be as inept a diplomat as he is a failed moral leader. And that is why so many are concerned that this requirement seems to be "up for grabs." My problem in reporting and making comment, is found in the extreme and growing partisanship with reporting networks, including Right leaning services.
The Left has been unreliable as a matter of strategy. Not on all issues, of course, but when they deem it to be necessary. As Chris Matthews said years ago, "Times are too important for us to be purely objective in our reporting." Unfortunately, I see the same extremist tactic as a growing phenom on the Right.
This particular story, the Iranian talks, produces a number of obstacles. You have not seen much on this subject, from me, because of these difficulties.
In addition to the naked fact that the talks failed, today, for the fourth time in 20 months, we have France walking away from the talks, a couple of days early, voicing serious doubts as to the outcome. These are red flags for me and add confidence to the notion that Obama has no "non-negotiables," despite claims otherwise.
Understand that Obama wants to say, "I was the first President to get this Iranian deal, finished." And you can be certain that he will make this brag, even if the deal is without substance.
Time will tell, and it is hoped that Congress will have the last word on this matter.

Real Clear Politics, a favorite with the Left and the Right, gives the Dems this fair warning about 2016:
The Democratic Party’s strategy to hold control of the White House and
win congressional seats next year relies on America’s shifting
demographics and on voter turnout. But “if the disparity in enthusiasm
is not addressed, that strategy is at risk,” Democracy Corps wrote in a
synopsis of the findings that began, “Democrats need to give voters a
reason to participate.”
Editor's notes: I have said this over and over again: Hillary rates a near "zero" on the charismatic scale. She knows it, so, rather than try, she has opted to be very serious looking in her statements.
The GOP can nominate another Establishment buffoon and lose this coming election, as they did in 2012 and 2008. But you know the Dems are feeling the heat, more than the GOP. I mean, there is talk, today, of drafting Joe Biden. They simply don't have a "reserve bench" and they know it. Time will tell.

A federal judge rules in favor of the NRA and against the propaganda driven Brady Center.
<<< Apparently Obama is a gun advocate, as well. He will love this story of judicial justice in spite of political pressure to squelchthe 2nd Amendment.
Free Beacon:
A federal judge has ordered that the Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence pay the legal fees of an online ammunition dealer it sued for the Aurora movie theater shooting.
The order, which was issued last week, comes after Judge Richard P. Matsch dismissed the gun control group’s suit that sought to hold Lucky Gunner legally responsible for the 2012 shooting. The Brady Center had argued in their suit that the way Lucky Gunner sells ammunition is “unreasonably dangerous and create a public nuisance.”
“A crazed, homicidal killer should not be able to amass a military arsenal, without showing his face or answering a single question, with the simple click of a mouse,” Brady Center’s Legal Action Project Director Jonathan Lowy said at the time. “If businesses choose to sell military-grade equipment online, they must screen purchasers to prevent arming people like James Holmes.”
Judge Matsch disagreed with the Brady Center’s argument. He said the suit was filed for propaganda purposes. “It is apparent that this case was filed to pursue the political purposes of the Brady Center and, given the failure to present any cognizable legal claim, bringing these defendants into the Colorado court where the prosecution of James Holmes was proceeding appears to be more of an opportunity to propagandize the public and stigmatize the defendants than to obtain a court order,” he said in his order.
New Black Panthers working with Sharpton and Farrakhan for a national black uprising.
They don't show you the "crowd" Shabaz is talking to . . . for good reason. Less than 50 people attended this moronic event. Not sure why Obama, Sharpton, Holder, Jeremiah Wright and Farrakhan missed the rally, but they were among the thousands of "no shows."
Point of post? To get angry folks like me to settle down a bit. All things are cyclical, especially in politics. All this "black power" crap is going the way of a rather nasty bowel movement. Good riddens. Stay calm.
Obama, once again, refuses to obey a Federal Court's order. Looks like someone needs to serve a little time in jail, like all other Americans who refuse to obey the courts.

It’s the latest black eye for President Obama’s amnesty policy and the immigration agency charged with carrying it out. The agency bungled the rollout, issuing three-year amnesties even while assuring the judge it had stopped all action hours after a Feb. 16 injunction.
Did the High Court change redistricting outcomes? Probably not.
Greg Stohr / Bloomberg Business:
Independent Redistricting Panel Upheld by U.S. Supreme Court
Editor's notes: You should know that only 6 states have an independent redistricting panel. The Court's decision did not rule against state legislatures, btw.
In the end, this will change next to nothing. Party politics will continue as before.
Update (7/1) : I get to say, "I told you so." See the referenced story below:

Redistricting litigation persists in key states despite court ruling
— The Supreme Court may have knocked out the best-known challenge to
existing congressional districts in a number of states on Monday, but
maps still remain in flux for 2016 in three important, large
battleground states: Florida, North Carolina and Virginia. (not to mention 26 other states where the Legislature does the deed, per Constitutional provision. All the Court did was to say, "elected officials" are not the only "legislature" the Constitution had in mind. But, of course, that is not true. Still, the Court has the final say. ~ editor).
Why is the Iranian nuclear deal taking so long? You might be surprised at the answer.
<<< Commentary from this blog's top dog
Yes, this is my opinion, but when have I been wrong, lately (since yesterday is "lately" to me)?
First, Obama could have put the Iranian nuclear project in the bunkers, years ago. Now, and, without the guts to threaten bombing their facilities or maintain a high embargo level, the man has nothing left but talk. So he talks and talks and talks, not realizing that with each of the past four "dead lines," the subsequent postponements make him look more and more like a dummy. Too bad they don't publish a book entitled "Negotiations for Dummies." Obama would have benefited from the reading. Since he "could have prevented today's diplomatic crisis, he wants you to get used to the idea that he is "working on the problem," and in that conditioning process (20 months with John Kerry at the helm), forget that he could have stopped Iran in its tracks, years ago.
Secondly, Obama despises GW Bush. If he gets this deal done, even if such is without any substance, he gets to say, "I did what Bush could not do. After all, I killed bin Laden and brought our troops home . . . . or did I. Anyway, I did what Bush couldn't do." This will go down as one of his legacy items.
Wanna bet that his library will be one of the least attended of the several Presidential libraries. I mean, who wants to look at one make-believe accomplishment after another?
Anywho . . . . . now you know what I think about that.
Supreme Court EPA decision: What does it mean for the American people?
Update (7/1 an a 24 share): Whatever the legal impact of this EPA decision, the Court's decision puts a "pause" on Obama's revenge game against coal, and gives that industry legal ground to file time-laden lawsuits, win, lose or draw.
Original post:
I have taken a couple of hours, listening to the business community (as opposed to news forecasts) in their analysis of this decision.
Here is what I have learned with regard to the EPA/High Court decision:
There was some sort of EPA decision, in the recent past, that legislated 10 million dollars worth of ANNUAL upgrades for 6 million dollars worth of benefits. This factored into the High Court's decision this morning.
The fact of the matter concerning the Obama policy on EPA standards is this: the EPA before today, did not have to deal with cost-analysis in making their draconian regulations. Before his 2008 election, Obama actually said that his coal standards would bankrupt that industry. Well, today, the High Court handed out a huge "no can do" and, in effect, gave the energy industry critical breathing room.
What happens next?
In a word, the traditional energy industry will wait out this Administration. What most people do not know, and no one in the Obama Administration cares about, is this fact: in the past 25 years, the coal industry has eliminated more than 50% of its harmful emissions, and, modern-day energy facilities built before Obama, are producing 95% less emissions than their older prototypes.
More than this, you should know that commonly known scientific research tells us that if the U.S. reduced its harmful emissions to zero by 2050, there would be NO measurable change in recorded emissions or pollution, world-wide.
African nations have complained that they are "developing nations," and must be allowed a certain degree of pollution. Understand that "pollution" and industrialization go hand in hand. Emergent nations of this world (previously known as "third world nations") cannot afford to develop industry (buy inventories, purchase properties and factories, pay for research and marketing, and give employees a "living wage" per American standards) and comply with the regressive climate standards modeled by the U.S., at the same time. In effect, the Industrialized Nations are creating a two-tiered world that insures those at the top, stay at the top, and, those at the bottom, cannot keep up or move up. But, more than the concerns of Emergent Nations, you have Russia, China and India . . . . . . prolific polluters unwilling to comply with any restrictive standards. Until they join the fray, nothing the US does in terms of regulations, will be productive on the world's stage.
It is my opinion that if we can't control the EPA, we need to disband that agency. Dido for the Department of Education. I am a Christian, and the Nazarene once said this: "The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath." Expand that thought to all of man-made laws, and you have the proper perspective as to the importance and place of all domestic laws.
It is simply asinine to elevate man-made laws and regulation to the point, that they enslave and bankrupt whole sectors of the population.
How many times has Obama said, "We have to do this now?" He said it with ObamaCare, the 2009 Stimulus, the Dodd/Frank Too Big To Fail banking reform and many of his failed Utopian fantasies. As a result, we have passed into law, thousands and thousands of pages of law without reading any of them . . . . . . all because we "do not have time to read, we must act now."
Nonsense.
Such was a ruse for the purpose of passing legislation that would have never seen the light of day, if folks had read the particular bill. Blame the Legislature for this, not Obama. He is only a slickster who knows how politics work, in D.C., and uses that knowledge to his Utopian advantage.
Anyway, nothing but good news for the poor and middle class who rely on coal for their heat - - - - - something that Obama could not care less about.
Time for a change, and that change, in part, is happening as I write.

Just how perverted and savage is the Left? Are their no boundaries for these people?
A district judge in Kansas blocked the state’s ban on “dismemberment abortion” – the first ban of its kind in the United States – on the grounds that prohibiting the procedure would create an “obstacle” for women who want to terminate their pregnancies with brutal dismemberment.
Dismemberment is a late-term abortion procedure in which an unborn, living baby is torn to pieces and removed from the uterus. The new law would have prohibited abortionists from using forceps, clamps, scissors and other instruments to cut the unborn baby into pieces prior to removing its remains from the uterus. Lawmakers in Kansas said such a procedure on a live unborn baby is inhumane. Read the full article here.Editor's notes: You can view a late term
The Supreme Court just made it impossible to defend ANY definition for "marriage." Prove me wrong. Nick can't.
So, Nick, what is your definition of
"marriage?"
A
union between two people in love. Yours?
John: Sooo, does
that include a grown man and a 10 year kid? I am guessing it does not, but how
do you deal with that problem, lower the age of "consent?" And
polygamy. If you don't believe in that, what is your justification for
"one on one union with anyone" in the face of a weeping woman telling
you how much she loves all the men she is currently sleeping with? In other
words, if you get rid of the historic definition, how do you come up with an
"end all" definition for "marriage." (Not trying to
argumentative, here. I really want to know how you go forward with any
definition, at all).
Nick: I hear you John. Good questions.
John with a final word: I saw my first headline on the question of polygamy 5 hours after the morning announcement of the Court. What has just happened is the end of the historic institution of "marriage." If not "one man to one woman" (and Old Testament man was hardly monogamous despite God's stated desire in Gen 3), there is no existing definition for "marriage." Ask a LBGT for he/she definition and you will not get one . . . . . because none exists. Me? I intend to ignore the Court's decision, teach the need and truth of the historic definition, and continue with my life. "They" only win when we surrender. Its not their lifestyle that is the ultimate prob, but the fact that many want to destroy the institution of marriage, altogether.

Editor's notes: Wow. If this is true, there is only one conclusion a thinking person can draw: That Kerry/Obama simply do not care about the effectiveness of this "agreement," they just want to announce a deal.
I cannot imagine anyone on the Left or the Right, in our Congress, agreeing to this idiocy. If this gets approved by our Congress, it will be the result of a Democrat push to do so with a little help for Establishment Republicans . . . . . . . if it gets approved. I can't believe that "approval" is on the horizon.
We all know that B Obama is sympathetic to certain Muslim realities, especially when in conflict with Christianity. We all know that Valerie Jarrett, his closest confidant since before the marriage to Michelle, was born in Iran and has strong ties to international influences that are not, typically, pro-American.
The last I heard, this agreement will not be a written agree, either. Good grief, how much of a buffoon is Der Leader?
"Why?" you ask, as to all this nonsense. Simple: Obama is pathological when it comes the notion of "fairness." And it is not fair that Israel be the only Middle East power to have nuclear weapons. That is what is going on, here

20 months of "we have made real progress but a few issues remain" and I think we are all tired of the bull.
Next thing we will know, James Taylor will be hired, again, to sing about our loyalties and determination. What an absolute joke this bunch of clowns have become.
Sorry to put this in such crass terms, but when you lead from behind, you get shit on, over and over again. You would think we had learned that lessons.
The Iranian's took Kerry's demands and told him to stick them up his butt . . . . the good news is this: at least he has some reading material to help jump the boredom that is his pathetic life.
Can any of you ladies imagine making love to this moose head?

US girls soccer plays Germany in semi-finals, Tuesday . . . but I will not be watching.
US soccer star. She has a name, but I don't care. |
I understand that Millennials know nothing about the history of this country or national politics, and, their Gen X parents don't really care. I am a Boomer and the divide is a generational matter. That being said, I will have a voice in the debate to my last day. This is one of those occasions. Apparently, supporting American International Soccer is no longer about American Pride, but Gay pride. I will be rooting for one of my least-like countries, Germany, just to make a statement.
This is not the evolution of a man. Rather, what we have here, is the evolution of a lie.
No one comes to a new political opinion, such as gay marriage, 100% fully developed in terms of his ideas and future strategies . . . . . no one. Yet, that is precisely the case with Obama. Proving? That the man was lying from the start, his lies were part of a fully developed strategy extending into the current hour. Nothing original with Obama; its what Democrats do.
Before the 2008 election, when he needed conservative votes - and his margin of victory (53% of the popular vote) was that conservative constituency:
“I believe that marriage is the union between
a man and a woman. Now, for me as a Christian — for me — for me as a Christian,
it is also a sacred union. God’s in the mix.” - April 17, 2008, while running
for president, defining marriage at the Saddleback Presidential Forum.
“I believe marriage is between a man and a
woman. I am not in favor of gay marriage. But when you start playing around
with constitutions, just to prohibit somebody who cares about another person,
it just seems to me that’s not what America’s about.” - Nov., 2008,
while running for president, in an interview with MTV.
After the 2008 election, when the man did not give a damn about conservative opinion or the "white man's religion" (words taken out of the mouth of Jeremiah Wright):
“I’ve called on Congress to repeal the
so-called Defense of Marriage Act to help end discrimination to help end
discrimination against same-sex couples in this country. Now, I want to add we
have a duty to uphold existing law, but I believe we must do so in a way that
does not exacerbate old divides. And fulfilling this duty in upholding the law
in no way lessens my commitment to reversing this law. I’ve made that clear.” -
June 29, 2009, as president, at an LGBT Pride
Month reception.
“I have
been to this point unwilling to sign on to same-sex marriage primarily because
of my understandings of the traditional definitions of marriage. But I also
think you’re right that attitudes evolve, including mine.” - Oct. 27, 2010, as
president, in an interview with a group of liberal bloggers.
Black conservative Christian leaders promise civil disobedience. Will they be more responsible to this promise than Catholic leadership was to their promise?
At a press conference in Memphis, Tennessee, members of the Coalition of African-American Pastors joined Christian ministers at the Church of God in Christ's historic Mason Temple to warn the Obama administration to prepare for massive civil disobedience among pastors and clergy if state bans on gay marriage are deemed unconstitutional.
"If they rule for same-sex marriage, then we're going to do the same thing we did for the civil rights movement," said Rev. Bill Owens, president and founder of CAAP. "We will not obey an unjust law."
"The politicians and courts have tried to take God out of this country," continued Owens. "This country was founded on Godly principles. We will not stand back."

After dealing with your initial disappointment, how should a conservative deal with her politicial future?
<<< Me and my oldest. She is back in school (Georgetown), a University grad finishing Magna Cum Loude in the 1990's (I think all my kids did something similar). Me? I made the top 95 percent of my class . . . . . . . . possible and used to weigh 330 pds. No more.
To answer the headlined question, consider this:
For starters, keep in mind the disaster for the Left that is the Obama Administration. He started with the most powerful/one-sided political opportunity in American history, and, managed to pass one critical piece of legislation in two stinking years. Good grief. We lost the ObamaCare argument, but won the day on any number of concerns . . . . . . and we will be the ones to fix ObamaCare; for certain, "they" have no clue. That's obvious after seven years of silliness.
Remember the 2010 landslide midterms, the 2012 elections in which Obama garnered 3.5 fewer votes than he received in 2008 and allowed Romney 1 million more votes than the 2008 loser, John McCain.
Keep 2014 in mind, as well. With that election, we drove Obama's party from its most powerful position in its history to its weakest collective since 1928 (and that is where that party remains).
They did not beat us with ObamaCare or Gay Marriage . . . . the Courts did that. Important. "They" have not won a major political battle since March of 2010. It is our party that is changing its face and talent stream. The Dems have no one except Hillary.
Keep all this in mind, because this is the context for today's political battles, not the Court's decisions on any subject.
Secondly, I suggest that you do what I intend to do . . . . continue the fight as I have for years and ignore Obama's childish attempt to become relevant again. Including Reagan, Conservatives have lived the WH 19 years versus 16 for the Dems (at the end of Obama's term). Not a bad record . . . . . . . hardly a declaration of domestic dominance as the Socialist Dems claim.
I will continue to counsel gays who come to me (I am a retired pastoral counselor), encourage the transgender minded to reconsider their choices and deal with their biology in terms of reality . . . . after all, biology is science, gender assignment is only cosmetic surgery, and, help those in my circle of influence with time, counsel and money as I can.
In a word, I intend to continue as if these morons on the Left have nothing to do with my life, because, contrary to popular belief, they do not, except when I surrender to their intolerance and bigotry.
Many gays think Court decision was bad.
ndrew Kaczynski / BuzzFeed:
Republican Sen. James Inhofe: My Gay Friends Think Court Ruling Was Bad
— “I know a lot of people, actually a lot of people who are friends of
mine in the gay community, who also think it was a bad decision.” —
Republican Sen. James Inhofe of Oklahoma says he has a lot of friends
Without question, the gay marriage decision changes the United States of America in ways that ObamaCare does not. This decision literally changes our country forever, and for all the wrong reasons.
I entered the following comment into SE Cupps' Facebook. I am a big fan of Cupp, but disagree with her very narrow view on this matter, a view that ignores the larger and more pressing debate:
I am a Boomer and oppose same sex marriage as the new definition of "marriage" . . . . . . . . BUT that is not the critical issue here. I listened to your passionate/sincere statement on CNN. Not trying to change your mind, but please understand that "gay acceptance" is one thing; it is quite another to silence opposition speech, close or punish churches and otherwise, force the cultural aspect (something other than the legal opinion) of this decision on those who have equally sincere opinions to the contrary. You do understand that faith (being an atheist -- maybe you don't understand), for many, is not an existential choice. If this is the end of the GOP . . . . . . . because I allow for gayness but publicly disagree with it . . . . . . . . . . then so be it. My brother fought for this country, in WW II. No one gives a shit about that except me, and today, I could not be more discouraged. You want us to look at those to the right of your CNN screen. Those same people will, now, come after me and do all they can to force my opinions into silence. Your are fine with that?? BTW, I am a huge fan and miss seeing you on Fox. this does not change that, but to ignore the second agenda, here (to silence all opposition), is an unintended consequence on your part, and a cold, callous effort on the part of others.
First , approve "Gay Marriage," then, punish all opponents and institutions. Time for civil disobedience.

If this is not Radical Islam, what in the world is it? And it is out of control.
Over 200 killed as Islamist terror wave hits Mideast, France
Tunisia death toll rises to 37; Kuwait mosque blast kills 25; Israeli minister tells French Jews to ‘Come Home!’ after beheading attack; Netanyahu blasts ‘dark forces'; IS kills 145 in Syria, supporters celebrate ‘Black Friday’ (read the story at Times of Israel, here).
Even health insurance companies are cutting back on available jobs. Kind of humorous in a sad sort of way.
From Breitbart to you:
“Changes such as these are difficult and distressing for everyone involved,” said Britton. “While our decisions support Mercy’s ability to stay strong and relevant in the face of challenges impacting all health care providers, today our thoughts and prayers are with those co-workers who are affected.”
Mercy Health’s firings will take place across the four states in which the health system operates, which includes Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Kansas.
Nationally, Obamacare remains deeply unpopular. The RealClearPolitics average of polls finds that just 43% of Americans support Obama’s signature legislative achievement.
Obamacare will cost U.S. taxpayers $2.6 trillion over its first 10 years.
Mercy Health announced Thursday it will fire 347 workers due to “increasing challenges to our reimbursement structure as we adjust to reductions mandated by the Affordable Care Act,” the company said in a statement.
President and CEO of the Mercy system, Lynn Britton, said the Obamacare-induced layoffs are taking a toll on workers and their families.“Changes such as these are difficult and distressing for everyone involved,” said Britton. “While our decisions support Mercy’s ability to stay strong and relevant in the face of challenges impacting all health care providers, today our thoughts and prayers are with those co-workers who are affected.”

I have always said: "If gay marriage is approved by the Supremes, opposition speech will become illegal." Well, 7 1/2 hours after the announcement, BAM !!
This is exactly what Justic Scalia meant when he warned that this decision is a threat to democracy.
The Supreme Court just institutionalized gay marriage nation-wide . . . . . a 5 - 4 decision for those who want to sleep with their friends.
As long as they do not criminalize my opposition speech to this decision and this practice, I am "fine" with this decision. Anyone believe that the radical libs in this "movement" will not work tirelessly to criminalize free, opposition speech? That is the next battle.
Just to be clear, when I say I am fine with this practice, understand that I am talking about who you live with and how much perversion you can practice, on a personal level. You have that right, and it was yours before this decision, today.
This decision does not redefine "marriage." Instead, it is the legal basis for the destruction of "marriage" as a legal and social construct. If a man can marry another man, he can marry his dog . . . . . . . and absolutely no one reading this can push forward an argument to the contrary.
I am not saying that "marriage to your dog" is the next frontier. Rather, I am saying that this is the end of "marriage." If a "man and woman" is not the standard, there is no single and undeniable standard at all. Because no one can argue against any particular form of marriage, "marriage" will eventually have no definition at all and those who speak out against this, will spend time in jail.
50 years from now, marriage (a man to a woman) will be no more.
Update: Look, forget the "dog" illustration. The official definition of marriage was "one man at time to one woman at a time," ruling out marriage to a dog, another same sex friend or "one man and three or four for 15 woman." If there is a future battle to be waged in this venue, it will have to do with polygamy.
A second real possibility, may be the legal age for marriage and whether a man can marry a six year old.
There are no legal arguments against any of this if the biblical standard is not the standard. As a result, our children, raised in such a permissive environment, will become dumber and dumber, less loyal to anything issue considered to be sacrosanct. and more wedded to "good times and rock and roll" than ever before.
Update #2: I told you so. Trust me; this decision is the end of "marriage." Every loser on Earth will want to establish his own definition, and there is no legal argument against any.

It's time to legalize polygamy
— Why group marriage is the next horizon of social liberalism. —
Getty. — Welcome to the exciting new world of the slippery slope.
With the Supreme Court's landmark ruling this Friday legalizing same sex
marriage in all 50 states, social liberalism has achieved one of its
central goals.
Obama moved against the American flag just as surely as Farrakhan did, today (Thursday).
“I don’t know what the hell the fight is about over the Confederate
flag! We need to put the American flag down because we’ve caught as much
hell under that as the Confederate flag!” ~ Louis Farrakhan
Think Obama opposes Farrakhan on this matter? Then why did he create a new American Flag and tried to raise 2012 campaign money off the thing?
Make note: Central Government symbol instead of the 50 State stars, nine strips instead of the 13 honoring our original 13 colonies and no borders.

Not a huge fan of Bill O'Reilly BUT this is one of the best political statements of the past 7 years !!!! We support every word of this monologue.
It's 8 minutes long and you are going to love it or you are no kind of patriot.
Fox News, as a conservative leaning news outlet, is saved from extinction !!
Rogers Ailes just signed a long term contract as the boss of the Fox Cable News network. That is very significant.
You probably do not know this, but the over-all head of all things "Fox," Rupert Murdock, just retired, and his two sons, who hate Fox Cable News, were threatening a take over the cable news network. But, in the end, Ailes won out and the network is secure for the foreseeable future.
Hillary update: Bernie Sanders pulls within 8 points of Hillary . . . . . wanna bet he loses by 15 ???
<<< A Bernie crowd, as large as any Hillary crowd to date.
Understand that our national media is all about making money. They often pretend otherwise, but the truth is very different. Brian Williams , for example, was making 10 million per year. Chris Matthews at MSNBC makes 5 million while his cohort, Rachel Maddow, makes a nifty 7 million. All these "middle class" do-gooders are as misleading as a transgender bra. I would name some of the millionaires on the Right, but none of them pretend they are not making the big bucks.
I believe Bernie Sanders is the least paid Senator on the Hill . . . . earning around $450,000 per year.
All this is to say that the Leftist Media needs a little controversy or it can't justify its time spent covering Hillary . . . . .. so they manufacture a "near political crisis" and hope it adds to their market share. The fact of the matter is this: The Dems simply do not have a "bench" when it comes to national politics. Me? I think their lack of attention to future elections is just what the doctor ordered . . . . . . and it demonstrates, once again, the party's gross ineptness. Didn't use to be that way . . . . back when I was a Democrat.
Update: In the WMUR CNN Granite State Poll for the Democratic Primary we have Hillary at 43%, Bernie at 35% and Biden, a distant third with 8%. . . . . . . . maybe there is more substance to this than I want to believe.

Institutional racism at all levels of our society? Utter nonsense.
“The legacy of slavery, Jim Crow, discrimination in almost every
institution of our lives . . . . . casts a long shadow, and that’s
still part of our DNA that’s passed on.” ` B Obama
Editor's notes: What we have here is a continuing effort at getting out the black vote. That is what all this talk is about . . . . . . . no more Obama on the ballot so, unless "they" can drive blacks to the polls, Hillary has no chance and, at present, some believe only 80% of black voters in 2008 will go to the polls in 2016.
This editor (that would be me) lives in California. I can tell you with impunity, there is NO INSTITUTIONAL RACISM anywhere on the West Coast . . . . . . period.
Understand that Obama's party created this problem with their plantations, the KKK, all of Jim Crow, and, now, rather than solving the problem, they are desperately trying to resurrect racism because they cannot win elections without pushing crisis after crisis. Fear mongering and division is how this bunch wins election, and there is good reason for believing that the American people are tired of the nonsense.

Supreme Court Watch: Six big court decisions remain. Many believe Thursday (June 25) is their day of reckoning..
Update:
5. Affordable Care Act: with five more decisions to be announced today and tomorrow, the ACA case is the first. Of course, the Court rewrote existing law, as it did in its first decision, and, then upheld its own newly formed legislation. That does not mean that it cannot be amended or canceled out by legislation in the future, but, until and unless that happens, it is the law. If anyone thinks this is the end of the matter, or more Democrat defeats are not in the works because of this poorly written law, you really have not been paying attention. Midknight Review predicted this outcome.

Remaining Court decisions:
1. Execution Methods
Glossip v. Gross The Court will decide whether particular chemicals used in executions caused pain and are, therefore, cruel and unusual punishment.2. Power-Plant Emissions
Utility Air Regulatory Group v. EPA et. al.Did EPA unreasonably disregarded costs when it decided to regulate power plant emissions of mercury ? The regulations would cost $9.6 billion annually, according to EPA estimates.
3. Congressional Redistricting
Arizona State Legislature v. Arizona Independent Redistricting CommissionArizona voters in 2000 passed a ballot initiative that shifted responsibility for drawing congressional districts from the state legislature to an independent redistricting commission made up of two Democrats, two Republicans and an independent. Was this decision in line with the Constitution?
4. Housing Discrimination
Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs v. Inclusive Communities ProjectIs Texas' approach to redistricting inline with federal housing law? Many believe the Court will strike down this Arizona law.
King v. Burwell - Most believe the Court will not strike down the subsidy statement of the law, although written to force the states to join the federal exchange.
6. Same-Sex Marriage
Obergefell v. Hodges et. al.Does the 14th Amendment allows individual states to refuse gay marriages? Many believe the Court will say "no," effecting ending the debate on this issue will establishing gay marriage as a national ordinance.

Part of the ACCEPTED Democrat constituency. What do you think. Vote accordinginly. (see the video)
Go to 33 minutes on the video and listen to two or three minutes of this speech. Understand that this man gives our country no serious credit whatsoever . . . . . . and this is part of the Establishment Rhetoric of the Obama Left, without debate. Don't agree? Find party leadership who will stand up and condemn this kind of garbage. Me? I am tired of this kind of crap and am not going to take it anymore . . . . just doing what this trouble-maker tells me to do. We have a wonderful country and we all need to join hands and hearts and fix the problems we have.
Why of course these people are normal. Why would you think not?
I intend to make the Democrat own their constituencies. Some are wholesome, others are perverted, violent, communist, or just plain stupid. I intend to post such on a daily basis (there is plenty of material to choose from) and to do so with as little commentary as possible. This post is an example. There is nothing in its wording that is expressly insulting to the woman (?) in the picture. You will draw your own conclusion.
The Al Sharpton Wing of the Democrat Party preaching hate and death to the White Man . . . . all white people. (video of Tuesday's rally).
You should know that these folks are part of the Democrat constituency.
Question: will anyone in the New Progressive Democrat Party condemn such talk and name the criminally minded who are preaching this kind of hatred? Well, it happened yesterday . . . . . . . . so far . . . . . . . . . . nothing.

Judicial Watch is doing something for ALL voters.
Judicial Watch announced it will host a press conference at the National Press Club on Wednesday, June 24 to announce a new federal lawsuit challenging the constitutionality of congressional districts in Maryland. The lawsuit, to be filed on Wednesday, will propose a straightforward method to allow courts to prevent politicians of any party from drawing legislative districts that dilute the power of voters and arbitrarily divide communities.
Plaintiffs
representing each Maryland congressional district are participating in
the new lawsuit, including Maryland Delegate Neil C. Parrott, Maryland
Delegate Matt Morgan, and former Maryland legislator and gubernatorial
candidate Ambassador Ellen Sauerbrey.
Tom
Fitton, Judicial Watch president, and Robert Popper, director of
Judicial Watch's Election Integrity Project are participating in the

The United States is not a raciest society . . . . . not even close. Here is proof:
The FBI released its most recent numbers on violent crime. Here are the totals:
2013: 1,163,146 violent crimes in the United States
. . . . . . . Only 3,563 were race based.
Understand that 11,631 equals 1 %
Soooo, we are looking at 3/10ths of 1 % . . . . . . . . . . or, pretty close to zero, statistically.

Hillary News: Pandering at its worst. Question you should be asking: Where in the world was Hillary last year, or the year before, or the year bef . . . . . .
Headline from the Daily Mail:
Hillary Clinton set for 'community meeting' about Charleston murders – in church near Ferguson, Missouri
America is more a target for our enemies than ever before . . . . . but since Obama does not believe we have true enemies, how can he fixed the problem?

Hack toll rises again: FBI says 18 million people may have been hit
And Fox News just report that the hack attack could reach more than 30 million.
First, the Central Planning ran with a "four million" number, then 6 million. Within three days, it had expanded to 10 million, then 14 million, and, today, some are saying 18 million while others are saying 30 million.
Understand, the people hacked includes all Federal Employees, past and present, military personnel, and anyone who works or had worked in the Congressional picture.
Andrea Tantaros on Fox, told us, this morning, that she got a letter telling her that she was included in the hacking, as a Congressional intern, years ago.
Midknight Review - New and Revised versus The Midnight Review. One is an impostor.
There is a blogger who took my name, Midknight Review, and changed it to Midnight Review (without the "k"), pretends to be a Republican, and uses the guise to win friends and influence people. He is a dunce, and I mean that as a compliment. He used to brag about his attendance numbers compared to mine. Today, I visited his site. He actually posts his total traffic - and the number is 459,226 since 2010. My numbers are listed below (1,301,152) and are from the beginning of 2010. There is another 120,000 if you add in my traffic before the site was shutdown, in December of 2009. Enough said. Won't mention it again, but it does give me great pleasure to make this report.
