Why Hillary's may be the end to Democrat hopes in 2016.

<<<  Want to know why Bernie will never be President?  Pictures like this do not help.

Andrew Prokop / Vox:
What Bernie Sanders thinks about the issues: a comprehensive primer.

Editor's notes:  I have no intentions of ever using "Vox" as a source of information about  anything other than an example sheer stupidity.  As a result,  the headline is not linked.  To make matters worse,  the storyline is about Bernie Sanders,  who, also,  has not been linked for decades.

From my perspective,  the fact that Hillary has had presidential aspirations from "day one" of her husband's time in office,  without having taken the time to passionately  identify  with a single,  populace, domestic issue, is her biggest problem.   The fact that no one seems to know what is critically important to the First Lady,  after 20 years of exposure, is mind boggling to me.  When you add her attachment to Obama and his radical domestic policies to the fact that she is sounding more and more  like Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders than a free political spirit,  you  have good reason to look closely at the offering that will be the GOP candidate.

The slowest jobs recovery in our nation's history,  an economy that is running under 2% per year for six-plus years (1% for 1Q-2014),  the 200 lobbyists (a record) who occupied much of her time as Secretary of State,  the issues surrounding the hundreds of millions of dollars raised from foreign governments during her time as Secretary, her feckless and boring campaign roll-out, and the simple fact that she has zero charisma,    all work against her bid for president.

Having said all that,  her greatest problem may be the fact that Obama  (yes he still thinks he is relevant),  will not sit down and shut up.  He successfully sabotaged the 2014 midterm elections,  by insisting that his policies were on the ballot.  I expect more of the same as his memory begins to fade.

The Stagnant Economy Spells Trouble for Democrats  —  The Fiscal Times  —  So much for economic momentum.  And perhaps, so much for Democratic hopes for a third straight term in the White House.  —  The Obama administration had made the argument just before last year's midterms that a spike …
