The good news for the GOP is this: "We" (I am an Independent) have a great RNC Chairman in Reince Priebus with a good mind for campaign strategies; "we" have almost more money than you can count (for a change - Obama out funded McCain by a 2 to 1 margin) and more than five/seven [very] qualified GOP candidates with funding.
While the Dems do not care what Hillary believes, the conservative nation does care about issues, and will work to give America the best choice for the 2016 election.
I am not making a prediction, but, I see reason to believe that the 2016 elections will be huge, for the GOP. When you combine what is happening within the GOP with what is not happening in the Democrat Party, there is reason for optism.
Even before she announces, Hillary is in a dead heat in such battle ground states as Florida, Ohio, Wisconsin and Illinois, with one GOP hopeful or another . . . . . . CNN, Washington Post, NY Times and network polling numbers aside.
Cruz's father was a Cuban National... his mother was an American living in Canada... Ted was born and lived in Canada... This is the same type scenario we were steered into believing with Obama... The one American parent thing only works if he would have been born in the USA... it's a two out of three deal, not one out of three.
ReplyDeleteThe only thing that made Panama born McCain eligible to run was both of his parents were American citizens... Cruz is not a constitutional Natural Born Citizen... he is ineligible... His energy would be better served in fighting for the Constitution in the Senate and campaigning for Rand Paul.
Also, don't you think the RNC would raise red flags if one of its candidates was not a legal citizen? I do.
DeleteI am not favoring Cruz, but he is a good choice, nonetheless; You should know the following, as to his citizenship:
DeleteCruz was born in 1970 so the laws that apply for his citizenship at the time were:
For persons born between December 24, 1952 and November 14, 1986, a person is a U.S. citizen if all of the following are true:[10]
1) The person's parents were married at the time of birth
2) One of the person's parents was a U.S. citizen when the person was born
3) The citizen parent lived at least ten years in the United States before the child's birth
4) A minimum of 5 of these 10 years in the United States were after the citizen parent's 14th birthday.
#1 - According to National Review article dated August 28th, 2013;
" They married, moved to Calgary, Alberta, and in late 1970 had their first and only child, Rafael Edward Cruz."
#2 - #3 are true for Cruz.
A snowballs chance in Cuba

Funny, that is exactly what I was thinking about the Cuba Compromised Hillary, the most unaccomplished Secretary of State of recent memnory.
DeleteA hahaha
ReplyDeleteTed Cruz is tired of the media making him look bad with accurately quoted remarks

I am positive that the MSM does take Cruz's comments, many of them, out of context. But Cruz and Rand Paul are going to get nowhere by simply whining about the bias of the present day media.
DeleteHaving said that, I do not believe the MSM has earned the right to vett anyone running for office. They certainly didn't in the case of Obama. Me? I give the MSM the respect it deserves, which is to laugh when they pretend to be real, objective, or anything other than a hot house for Progressive, Utopian values.
