You are looking at the devolution of the civil rights movement. Martin Luther King, Jr., was a Republican, who believed in this once great nation and its ability to correct itself. He died for that belief. On the other hand, we have the end game, a perversion of what the great civil rights leaders believed five decades ago, and a "leader" (Obama) who never marched in or participated in any civil rights demonstration (this is his second such performance, emphasis on "performance") and has been an existential disaster for the working poor within the black community.
What a sham. The civil rights movement used to be an American movement. Today, that leadership is in love with the Castro's and Hugo Chavez's of the world, and and the movement has been taken over by subversives, and, is as "American" as it appears to be.
