Because, deniers like Obama, will never address their ideological heresy. While that is not important to ISIS, it is critically important to those who see value in their belief system, as perverted as it is. While we need to be busy killing these people (and Obama is simply not committed to that task -- I mean, he is only killing off "their leadership" according to State Department representatives), moderate Islam needs to move itself away from its message of hate. THAT is at the center of this terrible nonsense.
They, International Islam, teach hatred for the Jews and the West. It is taught in their schools and there have been dozens of articles exposing this fact, over the years. When kids are taught to hate a few or to hate those living far away, it is an easy transition for them to broaden their spectrum of hatred and to increase the penalty for rejecting their faith (in Islam).
World wide, 20% of Muslims believe in violent jihad. That's well over 200 million people. folks. In America, if we have a Muslim population of 2% and 15% of these people believe in jihad, we have domestic population of Islamist Radicals totally 930,000 people. Soooo, why are our politicians telling us that the Jihadist threat is not existential to us?
While some come to ISIS from outside Islam, the fact remains that 99% if ISIS (or any of the jihadist community) came from the "moderate Islamic communities" in the region. The ideology that needs correction, is the ideology of hate and intolerance that exists in the surrounding moderate community. When a society teaches that it acceptable to cut hands off for stealing, to kill homosexuals or daughters who are seen in public without a head covering. When kids are taught an intolerant obsession with their faith, as are the children of the Islamic world, at large, well, that is what needs to be changed.
