The bad news has six immigrants arrested in the US for supporting ISIS. There is no good news.

WASHINGTON  Six Bosnian immigrants have been charged in the U.S. for allegedly supporting the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), the Department of Justice said Friday . . . . . . . . . The suspects, five of whom were arrested in the U.S., are all charged with providing material support to terrorists and conspiring to provide material support and resources to terrorists, the DOJ said in a statement.   The suspects immigrated from Bosnia, the Justice Department said. Three of them became naturalized U.S. citizens and the others have legal resident of refugee status.

Editor's notes:  the State Department released a report on Wednesday of this week,  detailing the fact that there are open cases of al Qaeda related arrests and investigations in 49 of the 50 states of our union.  All but Alaska.

Couple this with the fact that we have no border policy that excludes these people,  no policy for the capture and interrogation of jihad types  (I mean,  we arrest them and give them lawyers,  for crying out loud),  and more than 400 homeland Americans have been killed or wounded during the Obama years,  and you have an existential threat to this country in its infancy.

Susan Rice was unequivocal  in her denials, today,  that ISIS and related terror groups are an existential threat to this country,  a comment that is as much a fantasy as was the same sort of thinking back in 1938, and 1939, and 1940, and 1941, and 1942, and 1943  as regards Germany  . . . .   way over there in Europe.

Well,  Germany never landed folks on our shores,  never mounted a domestic attack on America,  never killed anyone within the borders of this country.  Al Qaeda has done just that and the death/casualty toll is in the thousands,  over the course of the past 22 years, going back to the first bombing of the Twin Towers.

When you have an Administration that refuses "to be at war" with a growing enemy force,  that pretends the current threat is no more alarming than the Crusades of a 1000 years ago,  in another place and another time,  and insists that the current threat has not risen to that of Germany,  in 1944,  well,  you have a leadership that is useless to our national security.  As long as the Democrat Party supports such utter nonsense,  their numbers and political power will continue to decline.
