Anyone know who James Taylor is? A great singer out of the 60's stoner/free love movement that lifted up Karl Marx as some kind of genius, a movement of peace, love, and flower power. John Kerry was of that day and time, as was I (editor of this blog). And now, 50 years later, John Kerry has decided to take the 1960's to France. Don't you know that James Taylor had to felt he was doing something rather awesome? Image what this retired stoner was thinking as he sang this song. And how embarrassing this is for the nation. You cannot see Kerry's face as Taylor sings, but he was closing his eyes and grooving to the music, just like in the good old days, when he was backstabbing his military buds, attending "hootenannies," and doing all that he could to help the enemy win the Viet Nam war. What a laughing stock we, as a nation, must be as the world of our enemies looks on, and makes jokes about our once great nation - - - - - - and no one in the WH gets it.
I was a stoner, just like Steve Jobs, GW Bush, Neil deGrasse Tyson, Bill Gates, Carl Sagan, Barack Obama, and all of the Beatles ... didn't hurt any of us - except maybe GW Bush, but he was also a drinker.
ReplyDeleteYour generational hate is completely redneck and distasteful. You probably won't live lang enough but gay marriage and legal pot will be the law of the land at some point. You're on the wrong side of history, as usual.
"I can't claim a Bill Clinton and say I never inhaled," -- Sarah Palin
You being a stoner? That has been obvious to me for more than a year. I grew up with these morons. You throw names around as if they were all users to the same degree. Nonsense. Booze almost ruined W's life, by his own admission. Crack, booze and pot for most of his High school years and the first year (at least) of college, is part of the explanation as to why Obama cannot think in terms of cause and effect. I have no clue why he is pathological as to lying. As far as being on the wrong side of history. You are probably right. And what will we be, when that is the case. Like Europe -- weak, lazy, and wholly dependent on the State. You'll be happy because you won't have to work, or think, or even plan your own menu. Good for you.
