Understand that this phrase, "get off your high horse," is one used in our society to imply an unrelenting and unreasonable response on the responses of others.
Example: a wife will nag and nag about getting the front lawn needing to be trimmed. Sooner or later, the husband may say, "Would you get off your high horse. I will get it done when I have time."
I could give dozens of examples, but you all know how this term is used. It is a pejorative, and is used, in every case, to convey the notion that one is being unreasonable to point of being a "pest."
So too, Obama's use of this term at the national prayer breakfast. At one point in his speech, he made this statement, "When we get on our high horse and think this is unique to some other place . . . .," he intended to imply that those who want to defeat ISIS are being as unreasonable as a nagging wife.
His constant reminder of past inequities, has nothing to do with what is happening now. What took place in Europe 800 years ago (the Crusades against a murderous Islamic horde) and the European Inquisitions (the Catholic Church punishing those who would challenge its authority), or the despicable practice of slavery (we Republicans fought against this national sin), and, the Democrat Party's fight to maintain segregation via the KKK and Jim Crow laws, have absolutely nothing to do with the present-day fight against Islamic Jihad and the implementation of a sadistic version of Shira Law. Nothing.
Clearly, his emotionally charged defense of Islam goes far beyond the issues of the day, and indicates his allegiance to that faith. Is he a Muslim? I don't really care. All I care about, in this case, is that his personal allegiance has nothing to do with saving this nation and the world from the murderous hordes that are gathering in the Middle East . . . . . . . and he is not doing his job, in this regard . . . . . . . . . . period. In fact, he is functioning as if he was an ally of Shria. THAT is what is most frustrating in the American response.
yes isis burned a man, so did white christians, same thing.

Its not the same thing, moron. We are talking about the here and now. You think that because a "Chrisitian" burned some one (where and when) that it is OK for ISIS to do the same ? And, when did this christian burn someone? 800 hundred freaking years ago, or are you talking about the Democrat Christian KKK members? Just another example, folks, of low information voters who voted for Obama.

DeleteReally. A Democrat "Christian" is your example of a parallel to the slaughter of innocents by the thousands, at the hands of ISIS ???!!! And what is your point? When I say, "So what?" I mean it. What the Democrats did during the dark yeas of early 1900 has nothing to do with our war with Muslim Terror. No one understands Obama and your defense of this clown.
DeleteYour anonymous bud seems to be more concerned with winning elections that protecting the homeland. For certain, that is his president's task, and I do think the man is a Muslim. Maybe he can be a Christian, in his mind, at the same time, but if you walk like a [lame] duck, talk like a [lame] duck , you are a Muslim.
