Observation: While Obama was laughing at the GOP during his State of the Union speech - it is clear that he is too childish to understand American politics.

<<<  Prime Minister Netanyahu,  Obama,  the crack smoking collegiate wannabe tough guy,  and the coward,  John Kerry (yes,  his face has definitely gotten longer) with Jane Fonda,  aiding and abiding the enemy.

When he said,  "I will not be on the ballot again," the Republicans cheered and he responded,  "I know,  I won both of them,"  then smiled and winked as if to say,  "I shut those clowns down."

What he does not understand is this:  he won the two elections that put him in power;  he was obliterated in the two elections that gave him power.  Today,  he is having to govern all by his lonesome.  While that is fine with him,  it is also, fine with folks like me.  Nothing this stranger in our White House will do,  has any sense of  permanence.  For him to fail to realize that "fundamental change" is "permanent change."  In the end,  the next two years promise that Obama will continue to foster political destruction on his own party.

His sense of "relevance" is seen in his decision to seek out interviews from people who bathe in milk and slurp up Fruit Loops and and and,  are openly critical of his decision to embrace Fidel Castro.

  1. Who doesn't laugh at the GOP?
Latest polls, and they keep going up ... compare that with Bush at the same time in his miserable presidency.

    Gallup 1/22 - 1/24 48 48 Tie
    Rasmussen Reports 1/22 - 1/24 50 48 +2

    1. It must be frustrating to be so damn popular without the ability to win in the midterms . . . . I mean, you all are so popular that you now have the fewest number of congressmen since 19 freaking 23. But keep bragging. Apparently, since you all no longer believe in election results and post election realities, bragging is all you have left. Even in the 2012 elections, Mr Popularity took in 4.5 million fewer votes that in the 2008 elections while Bush, in his re-election, you know, that miserable president Bush, while Bush took in 12 million more votes that he got in the first election. And if you don't have a better candidate than the feckless Mrs Bill Clinton, you are going to lose the 2016 elections as well.

    3. Well, of course we need a viable candidate, but Hillary is a terrible candidate, and I think you know this.

  2. Smithson said 3 days ago, "Because you do not want to accept Gallup is not my problem. Still, Obama is grossly less popular that Bush."

    Gallup - Obama approval 50% +5

Bush at this point in his presidency: 36%

    1. Not according to the ballot box, Bush lost the House and the Senate in 2006, but his party was still strong and the Senate "loss" was a close as "close" can be. Not true with the 2014 elections. Not even close. Still, Obama had the lowest approval averages for the course of an entire year, lower than any other modern day president . . . . that is what I meant by my comparison, and it remains true. I don't pay attention to polling results. You don't pay attention to the vote of the people. How's that going for you?
