Mayor De Blasio, the socialist mayor of NY City and a cop hating, activist politician, working in concert with Al Sharpton, H Obama, Eric Holder, Louis Farrakhan, Bill Aryers, Van Jones, and any number of other anarchists bent on “fundamental change” to our once great nation, did not have the decency to show up on time, at the funeral of Officer Ramos, the first funeral of the two officers murdered by a black activist, a week ago. Blasio had scheduled himself to speak at the funeral/wake, in opposition to the desires of the New York City’s police union’s request that he stay away from their funerals.

After insisting on his funeral speech at Officer Ramos's wake, a controversial “middle finger” to the police union, in and of itself, De Blasio didn’t bother to come to the funeral until it was too late to participate. In fact, the New York Times, originally reported his absence from the funeral, hence the retraction, below.

You should know that the Times did not bother to report Delasio's failure to speak at the service . . . typical Leftist media crap.

An earlier version of this article incorrectly said that Mayor Bill de Blasio did not attend the wake. Mr. de Blasio had not at the time that version of the article was published, but he did attend later in the evening.

I did find a picture of the activist mayor with a mic in his hand . . so maybe he did say something, when the service was nearly over and hundreds of cops stood outside with their backs turned to this "American" imposter. what a joke of a mayor. He ran for the office as an anti-cop candidate, and talked trash on the cops right up to the moment the two officers were murdered by one of De Blasio's own constituency.
