<<< The Bobbsey Twins of Totalitarianism gone wild.
Turns out that rank socialism is not welcomed, even in one of the more "progressive" nations in the EU, namely, France.
Two and a half years into his first five year term, France's equivalent to B Obama, Francois Hollande, appears to have the approval of only friends and family. Understand that statisticians tell us that in an educated population, 10% of that population will believe just about anything. And so, every population has those who believe the earth is flat, the earth saves itself by moving to the Moon, that Martians actually bred earth's population millions of years ago, that Obama knows what he is doing and, or that PM Hollande is a responsible national leader.
We (the United States) are not the only ones having to deal with a runaway national government or an Utopian Dreamer who has no regard for the opinion of his voting population.
President Francois Hollande's approval rating just fell to its lowest level for a leader within the EU, in modern day history, a startling 12%. Until this past week, it was believed that such an approval rating was impossible except for the likes of a Communist/Left Wing Socialist dictator such as Hitler or Joseph Stalin.
Obama's approval rating is approaching record lows, as well, and, unlike GW Bush's media driven disapproval, Obama's is hugely unpopular across the nation and within his own party.
Here is a quote from one of France's banking CEO's, note the similarity between this complaint and that of many in this country:
From Reuters: "The absence of a clear vision and lack of coherence in economic policies is weighing on confidence and therefore investment and economic activity," CEO Jean-Paul Chifflet said during a conference call to present the bank's results.
Understand that the House of Representatives, our nation's state houses and local governance, are more the "people's domain" than any other in this world, including our own Senate and Presidency. All of the present day angst, all of it, can be laid at the feet of two men who care nothing for public opinion or the will of the people: The Senate leader, Harry Reid of Nevada, and Barack Obama.
In times past, a butting-kicking election meant "change is just around the corner." Not this time, not with the historic drubbing issued to Obama in the 2014 midterms. Instead of hearing the voter, he has decided to give more than equal time to those who did not bother to vote, a "hearing" that he believes gives him permission to continue doing whatever he thinks he is doing.
And so, here we are, having to deal with a man who neither knows how to govern in a free society, nor shows any desire to do so. Worse, none of us, including Obama's own allies, have a clue what he is going to do "next." And I put "next" in quotes because after immigration, what will he do next, and after that, what comes "next" and so on. Sadly, we are left to the "discretion" of a Harvard totalitarian with no sense of political morals and no concern for the history and traditions of this once great nation.
