<<< Obviously, taking guns out of the hands of voting Democrats (including Jihadists and gang members) should cut gun deaths by a huge margin.

According to the FBI statistics on murder victims for 2013, we have the following:

Total number of folks murdered in 2013: 12,253 compared to 35,200 killed in auto accidents.

Total killed by use of firearms: 8,454, down 9% compared to 2009 figures. 5,782 of these were by use of handguns.

None of these deaths were done by anyone I know, zero . . . . . and they all own guns and rifles.

285 were killed by rifles while 1490 use of knives.
