The established journalist community is beginning to understand the critical failure that is this Administration.

<<<<  Well,  he certainly has cornered the market on "cool."  So what.

A journalist writing for the NY Post,  finally gets on board with a long time observation voiced in the blog (and others).  At issue:  Obama’s ability to come up with new ideas and sound,  established,  strategies.  Conclusion:  Time has proven that he does not have that ability.  Heck,  he can’t even come up with a lie that does not become problematic.  In the article, found here,  begins with this first complaint:

With almost six years of the Obama administration under our collective belts, the time has come to acknowledge a painful truth: This is an astoundingly idea-free presidency.
At that press conference, Obama stunned the world by saying, out loud and openly, that “we don’t have a strategy yet” on how to deal with ISIS. No president before him had ever said such a thing out loud, and for good reason: Having a strategy is the president’s job.

The author,  John Podhoretz,  a well received journalist and conservative speech writer,  wrote the hard hitting essay,  published on Saturday the 4th , detailing a number of examples including the following:

Consider his two signature legislative accomplishments (one 5 ½ years old, the other 4 ½ years old): The post-meltdown stimulus and ObamaCare.
These, arguably the two most expensive domestic programs ever put on the books, weren’t carefully formulated and rigorously conceived.
They were jerry-rigged assemblages of ideas, policies pulled down off the shelves of congressional subcommittees.
Because the stimulus was so poorly designed, the stimulus was used in large measure by states to pay down their own debts rather than on “shovel-ready” projects intended to employ the unemployed. And ObamaCare’s manifold sloppinesses and disasters both in the drafting and in the execution have gone off like time bombs every few months ever since the law was passed.

More than these and other examples detailed in the article,  there is the fact that liberal writers cannot cite a single example of profundity as relates to Obama and his cashe of ideas.  The 2009 stimulus, an ancient Democrat fantasy that spending other peoples money brings health and stability,  was designed as “payback” to unions,  Democrat donors and progressive constituencies.  In the end,  we now know that 3 of every 4 dollars going to Democrat allies.  Its failure as a long-term solution to the economic crisis,  is admitted by most non-partisan economists.  The debate over this piece of legislation,  written  before he took the oath of office and signed into law 27 days after his inauguration (Feb 17, 2009),  did nothing for this country,  economically.  ObamaCare, a second example,  has been a monumental failure if measured against truth and the stated benchmarks of the Administration.   Further,  you must know that ObamaCare was NOT patterned after Romney's healthcare plan.  Rather,  its model was Hillary's 1992-93 effort at "universal" healthcare.  Again,  the point being this:  nothing knew about the idea of ObamaCare except for the fact its website has cost $900 million (almost a billion dollars spent for a freaking weeksite).  Now,  THAT is novel.

The reader may counter this article's purpose by reminding us all,  that the Post author is admittedly "conservative."  Indeed,  this is true,  but he is also a respect journalist  and,  his article has taken very little heat.  Why?  Because,  we believe that he speaks from a bi-partisan position.  Over the past year,  the number of critical statements coming from the Liberal and Progressive communities is startling.  The fact that Obama's time is being consumed with dealing with his own incompetence,  is the most critical evidence we have to offer for our position.   He has spent more time on the golf course,  partying at the White House,  fundraising,  and,  making personal appearances than all presidents combined in the modern era  . . . .  perhaps in our history.  No single president compares to Obama for time spent doing things other than his job.

We did not hire a party boy,  a fundraising genious,  an aspiring amateur golfer in sore need of practice,  or a partisan PR man.  And, now that the world is exploding in his face,  the moral deficit of this man has become evident  . . . . .  and it threatens all of the Progressive world.

  1. And the hate machine rolls on....

Obama - the most obstructed president in US history. His greatness will not be known for years after he leaves.

    1. Funny but he is the only president in our lifetimes to have run the federal government completely unopposed for two years. No legislative opposition . . . . . . . . and he still couldn't get things done. And who is obstructing what? Harry Reid has 267 bills from the House and refuses to put any of them up for debate. He has refused to pass a budget for 6 fiscal years.

    2. America is in decline. Culturally, and educationally.
American students' combined performance in reading, mathematics and science places the United States at 21st among 34 nations. Korea, Japan, and Finland are the top 3.

Conservatives have been undermining education as one of their main initiatives.
Take for example the recent Supreme Court appeal of John Freshwater, who taught eighth-grade science at Mount Vernon Middle School until 2011. The Board of Education removed him after it was revealed that he decorated his science classroom with Bible verses, attacked the theory of evolution, and gave extra credit for attending creationist films.

That's conservative "education." That is how conservatives are hurting this once great nation. Ignorance and stupidity rules their world.

    3. Godless progressives have been in charge of public education for decades. Your complaint is against them. Know this: Christian home schoolers and public sector charter schools (non-union schools) score higher on math and science testing than public school kids. Clearly, "conservative" is not the problem. I would suggest that the heterophobic, self hating (transgendered) dope is good and moderation is more religious crap, segment of our population is much more the problem than any excuse you can offer.

    4. False. Conservative school boards in TX, LA, TN and other places are changing textbooks, making the teaching of creationism as science legal. This is the measure of the declining America. This is NOT happening in the superior educational systems in Asia and Europe. American education places too much faith in marketplace choice, which parents have because of expanded access to charter schools. This weakens the public school structure that is fundamental to many successful education systems in Asia and Europe that have proven themselves far superior to the American system.

    5. Exactly where is Design taught at the expense of evolution? Answer: NOWHERE. Your example is another straw dog, an exercise in false logic that presents folks like yourself the opportunity to continue to argue while saying absolutely nothing of consequence.

    7. You just don't believe in dealing with the questions asked, do you? Tennessee does not outlaw evolution. Again, the question was, "Exactly where is Design taught at the expense of evolution?" The answer was . . . . . . "NOWHERE." Back in the good old days, when education was about challenging the student to think for himself, that was and is a great cause, but the anti-Patriots of this land do not believe in that standard.
