Understand this: Since you are asking, the only reason Obama does not walk away from Israel, altogether, has everything to do with the existence of several very powerful Democrat Senators, representing 78% of all Jews living in this country.

Senators from New York, California, Florida, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Massachusetts and Maryland, own enough political power to keep Obama's publicly expressed angst for Israel from becoming an opportunity for his personal concept of revenge.

While the black leadership in the House is “anti-Israel,” the several Democrats in the Senate, hold the winning hand. This internal Democrat war is driven by the 40 member, Congressional Black Caucus in the House, as Marxist an influence in government as exists. Thankfully, this anti-colonial/anti Israeli influence (including Holder, Obama, Valarie Jarrett, Jeremiah Wright, the mayor of New York City, Al Sharpton and others) is countered by the influence of Democrat Senators including Charles Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand (NY), Diane Feinstein and Barbara Boxer (CA), Dick Durbin (Il), Bill Nelson (Fl), Corey Booker (NJ), Elizabeth Warren (Mass), both Senators from Maryland, Bob Casey from Pennsylvania (raving progressive One Worlderss, all) and a number of GOP Senators. Obama can blow all he wants - he simply cannot stage a major departure from past Israeli/US policy because of the Senatorial constituencies named above.
