Mark Knoller of CBS News reports, the White House has made a policy out of its refusal to tell the American people how much they spend for his 430 plus fundraising appearance. Of course, cost is in the millions.
Keep in mind that all such appearances are done on Obama's own time. He is not our president for the purpose of fund raising.
“Very simply, the White House doesn’t want to disclose the material because it might be embarrassing and would draw lots of criticism, which Mr. Obama can do without,” Knoller reports.
Mark Knoller made a name for himself, as he kept a record of the number of speeches and public appearances Obama made during his first year in office: 726 such appearance or nearly 3 per day assuming he did not "work" on Sundays. That translates into 9 months of talking, a few weeks of golf, and a couple of months of pretending to be "president."
