Exactly when does psychiatry consider an "illness" an illness that is in need of therapy? It certainly isn't when your little boy walks into the house and says, "I don't want to be a boy, anymore." What would these morons do if that same kid came in and said, "I hate my feet. I want to be like an octopus and have eight arms?" What if he said, "It is not fair that we all can see, so I am going to stab my eyes?" Sounds kind of stupid, right? And I conclude with, "Exactly my point."

Understand that the arguments for homo sexual ality, have nothing to do with the arguments for transgender. The former deals with a proclivity for something, the latter is a denial of reality, as defined by your body. It is no different (the latter) than having to deal with the fact that you are "too short" or "too tall," when you which to be otherwise.
