Judicial Watch warns about a September attack within our borders. True? Sooner or later, yes.

Dear Fellow American,

I am sending you this special email because of the urgent and serious nature of new information we uncovered from various sources about the possibility of an imminent terror attack on our border. This exclusive report is reprinted for you below. Please share this email far and wide. As you might imagine, I do not believe the Obama administration and other politicians in Washington want you know the full truth about the imminent threat on our southern border from Islamic terrorists. The story was first published earlier today on our Corruption Chronicles blog.

Imminent Terrorist Attack Warning By Feds on US Border
Islamic terrorist groups are operating in the Mexican border city of Ciudad Juarez and planning to attack the United States with car bombs or other vehicle born improvised explosive devices (VBIED). High-level federal law enforcement, intelligence and other sources have confirmed to Judicial Watch that a warning bulletin for an imminent terrorist attack on the border has been issued.  Agents across a number of Homeland Security, Justice and Defense agencies have all been placed on alert and instructed to aggressively work all possible leads and sources concerning this imminent terrorist threat.

Specifically, Judicial Watch sources reveal that the militant group Islamic State of Iraq and Greater Syria (ISIS) is confirmed to now be operating in Juarez, a famously crime-infested narcotics hotbed situated across from El Paso, Texas. Violent crimes are so rampant in Juarez that the U.S. State Department has issued a number of travel warnings for anyone planning to go there. The last one was issued just a few days ago.

Intelligence officials have picked up radio talk and chatter indicating that the terrorist groups are going to "carry out an attack on the border," according to one JW source.  "It's coming very soon," according to this high-level source, who clearly identified the groups planning the plots as "ISIS and Al Qaeda." An attack is so imminent that the commanding general at Ft. Bliss, the U.S. Army post in El Paso, is being briefed, another source confirms. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) did not respond to multiple inquiries from Judicial Watch, both telephonic and in writing, about this information.

The disturbing inside intelligence comes on the heels of news reports revealing that U.S. intelligence has picked up increased chatter among Islamist terror networks approaching the 13th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. While these terrorists reportedly plan their attack just outside the U.S., President Obama admits that "we don't have a strategy yet" to combat ISIS. "I don't want to put the cart before the horse," the commander-in-chief said this week during a White House press briefing. "I think what I've seen in some of the news reports suggest that folks are getting a little further ahead of what we're at than what we currently are."

The administration has also covered up, or at the very least downplayed, a serious epidemic of crime along the Mexican border even as heavily armed drug cartels have taken over portions of the region. Judicial Watch has reported that the U.S. Border Patrol actually ordered officers to avoid the most crime-infested stretches because they're "too dangerous" and patrolling them could result in an "international incident" of cross border shooting. In the meantime, who could forget the famous words of Obama's first Homeland Security Secretary, Janet Napolitano; the southern border is "as secure as it has ever been."

These new revelations are bound to impact the current debate about the border crisis and immigration policy.

Sincerely,
Tom Fitton

President

  1. You want an attack. And if there is... it will all Obama's fault.

(Unlike 9/11 that happened on Bush's watch)

C.I.A. repeated the warnings all summer 2001. Operatives connected to Bin Laden reported on June 29, that the planned near-term attacks to have “dramatic consequences,” including major casualties. On July 1, the brief stated that the operation “will occur soon.” Some of the briefs again reminded Bush that the attack timing was on track.

Yet, Bush failed to take significant action. Officials at the Counterterrorism Center of the C.I.A. grew apoplectic. On July 9, at a meeting of the counterterrorism group, one official even suggested that the staff put in for a transfer so that somebody else would be responsible when the attack took place... the White House was doing NOTHING.

That same day, Ibn Al-Khattab, an extremist who was known for his brutality and his links to Al Qaeda, told his followers that there would soon be very big news. Within 48 hours, an intelligence official told me, that information was conveyed to the White House, providing more data supporting the C.I.A.’s warnings. Still, Bush did NOTHING.

On July 24, Mr. Bush was notified that the attack was still being readied, but that it had been postponed, but by just a few months. But Bush did NOTHING. Then ... the famous Aug. 6 CIA briefing entitled "Bin Laden determined to attack in US." Bush received it DID NOTHING then went on vacation ... FOR A MONTH.

In the aftermath of 9/11, Bush officials attempted to deflect criticism that they had ignored C.I.A. warnings by saying they had not been told when and where the attack would occur. That is technically true, but it misses the point. Throughout that summer, there were events that would have exposed the plans, had Bush heeded the warnings. Even as the Aug. 6 brief was being prepared, Mohamed al-Kahtani, a Saudi believed to have been assigned a role in the 9/11 attacks, was stopped at an airport in Orlando, Fla., by a suspicious customs agent and sent back overseas on Aug. 4. Two weeks later, another co-conspirator, Zacarias Moussaoui, was arrested on immigration charges in Minnesota after arousing suspicions at a flight school. But the dots were not connected, and Bush did NOTHING.

Now, it's time my friends to hear from "Smithson... the excuse machine" to tell us how it wasn't Bush's fault, how the blame 9/11 is on Clinton, and everything bad in the world is Obama's fault.

  2. The planning for 9/11 took place in the last two years of the Clinton Administration. IN a Times article written in 2005, we have this commentary" "The New York Times, reporting on Judicial Watch’s find in 2005, noted: “State Department analysts warned the Clinton administration in July 1996 that Osama bin Laden’s move to Afghanistan would give him an even more dangerous haven as he sought to expand radical Islam “well beyond the Middle East,” but the government chose not to deter the move, newly declassified documents show.”

Your comments are a plagiarism of an article written in the NYTimes by a avoid conservative and Bush hater. In the article you plagiarize, there is the admission that there were no specifics to the warnings sent to Bush 33 days before 9/11. But, again, what about Bill Clinton's failures in this. His legal counsel erected communications walls between the several intelligence agencies, preventing the sharing and confirmation of information. While the CIA was warning Bush and Clinton, the warnings were a mixture of conflicting information because of the Jamie Gorelick walls.

Just to be clear: your comments are a plagiarism of KURT EICHENWALD written two days before the Benghazi murders and the Obama Administrations cover-up.

  3. Bush apologist - so says a Marxist Defender. It is a historical fact that all of 9/11 was planned during the last two years of Clinton. It is a historical fact that Clinton and his CIA director, George Tenet, were the ones who told Bush about the WMD's. It is a historical fact that Jamie Gorelick, Clinton's legal adviser, put up barriers between the various intelligence agencies. It is a historical fact that the warnings given to Bush did not include specifics and no one ever suggested a passenger plan attack on the Twin Towers.

  4. There were indeed several reports prepared within the CIA, the Aviation Administration, and elsewhere in the Government about the threat of planes as missiles. The Department of Defense had conducted drills for the possibility of a plane-as-missile attack on the Pentagon. When Rice and Bush attended the G8 summit in Italy in July 2001, the airspace was closed because of the threat of an aerial suicide attack by al-Qaeda.

The PDB Bush received a month before 9/11 was entitled "bin Laden determined to strike in US" mentioned specifically:
"a Bin Laden cell in New York was recruiting Muslim-American youth for attacks"
"Bin Laden wanted to hijack a U.S. aircraft"
"patterns of suspicious activity in this country consistent with preparations for hijackings ... including recent surveillance of buildings in New York."
"Bin Laden implied in U.S. television interviews in 1997 and 1998 that his followers would follow the example of World Trade Center bomber Ramzi Yousef"

Let's hear from the Smithson excuse machine.

CAN YOU imagine... If Obama had received these same exact warnings and went on vacation for a month, and then an attack on his watch .... what would Smithson be spouting then?

  5. Again, no specifics were given to Bush; all of 9/11 was planned during Clinton's final two years; the threat of WMD's came from Clinton and his CIA, and "regime change" was a plan for Saddam's Iraq devised by Bill Clinton.

That last sentence is a riot. Obama was told about ISIS 4 freaking years ago, according to a West Point report released Thursday. Iraq begged him from help a year ago this month. Iraq is a mess because of Obama, and he continues to be an impostor when it comes to national security.

  6. He knew of the ISIS threat, but was too busy winning elections on the lie: GM is alive and al Qaeda is dead. Just wait until Americans are killed in Iraq or here at home, because of Obama's malfeasance. You will love the articles I write about those eventualities.

  7. Oh, and when has ISIS attacked America and how many have been killed compared to 9/11? ..and suddenly you're worried about dead Iraqis ... after Bush killed 100,000+ .

You want dead Americans. You need dead Americans for your rants.

    John "the Bloody" Smithson.

  8. I care about the 4500 Americans killed giving the Iraqi people a shot at freedom. If we had stayed (Status of Forces agreement), and continued an aggressive diplomatic effort, it would have worked. Instead, Obama announced a strong and healthy Iraq, and left the struggling State, giving Russia, Iran, and ISIS an opportunity to turn the Bush victory into an Obama defeat.

100,000 killed by Bush? Just another Alinsky style lie. How many did al Qaeda kill? Try "100,000" and you would be close.

You accuse me of wanting dead Americans. I am telling you that you don't care about dead American soldiers or you wouldn't have support Obama's cut and run policy, making the deaths of 4,500 Americans an absolute waste of human life. This is why the military shows a 65% disapproval rating for B Hussein Obama.
