Understand this: The actual premium cost for ObamaCare is monthly payment + subsidy. (updated for commentary)

<<<  They look normal,  but the part of the brain that is reserved for "common sense,"  in an Utopian Liberal,  is overwhelmed,  physiologically, by a  synapse that forces the Utopian dreamer to forego common sense in her pursuit of her Utopia fantasies.

The reason for "subsidies" is two fold.  One,  to make government healthcare appear to be "affordable,"  and (2) to make it APPEAR that monthly premiums have gone down or,  at least, increased at a slower rate.

Below is a link to a report out of Forbes,  that tells the truth about premium costs  -  and it is a scary report.  It's title?

3,137-County Analysis: Obamacare Increased 2014 Individual-Market Premiums By Average Of 49%

For certain,  ObamaCare will be a campaign issue for well into the future.  You Dems really out-smarted yourselves,  this time.

Understand that a full 80% of those signed up,  whatever the hell that number is,  are receiving subsidies.  In other words,  they are being bribed to "join" a huge,   progressive tax scheme, for which they have no choice but to "join."   (And,  it is progressive,  by definition,  and a "huge tax scheme" by Supreme Court declaration).

Personally,  it is clear that the Progressive/Marxist oriented mind,  cannot write a bill that balances expenses against receipts,  or does not grow government  . . .  they do not have the mental whatever to do so.  It is not that "they" won't to it.  Rather,  it is that they can't.  They look normal,  but the part of the brain that is reserved for "common sense,"  in an Utopian Liberal,  is overwhelmed,  physiologically, by a  synapse that forces the Utopian to forego common sense in her pursuit of the Utopia, folks on the Left dream about  . . . .  you know,  like in kid's programming and those sy-fi movies.

Anyway,  just know this:  ObamaCare will soon out strip the overall, unfunded, liabilities of Medicare and Social Security with their combined unfunded liabilities of more than 60 trillion dollars, or, a total "debt to self" equal to the annual budgets of all nations in this world,  added together.

I say "debt to self" because, in this case,  that is what an unfunded liability is.  We have more projected debt or obligation in these two programs,  than we have projected income  . . .  to the tune of 60 trillion. We are enslaved to debt by our own laws.  Add in another Progressive boondoggle,  and,  you have a trifecta that will force tax rates to 80%,  for the common man, with no money left for a military or food stamps or whatever.  That is where we are going,  and the Establishment,  in both parties, is taking us there . . . . . . .   period.

Of course,  we have to have a military,  and social welfare is, now,  systemic to the function of this nation.  Knowing,  as all economist must surely know,  the Trifecta added to military costs and social welfare programming,  cannot continue without raising taxes on all of the workforce in America AND, cutting all programs paying out benefits,  whether that be Medicare, Social Security,  domestic welfare (housing, food, and extra money for televisions and other free stuff).  We are within 30 years of the kind of changes that destroy nations.

Updated for the following confirming article:

Daily Caller:
Obamacare subsidies are likely to cost billions more than expected this year, after a Wednesday federal report revealed that a 87 percent of HealthCare.gov customers are getting taxpayer subsidies to purchase health insurance.
According to a report released by the Department of Health and Human Services Wednesday, customers in federally-run Obamacare exchanges that received any amount of subsidies paid on average 76 percent less than the real cost of their premium.
While the average premium cost $346 per month for subsidized HealthCare.gov users, taxpayers are paying insurers an average of $246 per month, while Obamacare customers are chipping in an average of just $82 per month.
“Nearly 7 in 10 consumers who signed up for Marketplace coverage are paying $100 or less for that coverage,” said newly confirmed HHS secretary Sylvia Burwell. “When there is choice and competition, everybody benefits,” she concluded oddly, not mentioning that the sole factor in lowering the cost for Obamacare customers is upping the taxpayer tab.
