The truth about the Bergdahl negotiations with the enemy:

<<<<    Obama and John Kerry negotiated with the enemy for the release of these five men,  specifically requested by the Taliban.  Collectively,  they are responsible for the deaths of hundreds of our soldiers, and,  within three weeks,  these murderers will be in the battle field,  somewhere in the world,  killing and spreading terror once again.

Keep in mind,  also,  that Bowe Bergdahl was promoted to Sargent after he went AWOL.

In June of 2009,  Bowe Bergdahl wrote that he had become disillusioned by the war, and was "ashamed" to be an American:  Make special note that this email was written before he deserted the army,  late at night,  nearly 5 years ago, and, well before he was promoted - in absentia - to Sargent. He is no hero.

Giving the Taliban their negotiated request (each of the five Taliban murderers were specifically mentioned by Radical Islam) is a slap in the face to the families whose soldiers were lost (killed in combat) at the hands of these five garbage-piles wrapped in human flesh.  And,  to imagine that our Chief, White House, Security Council,  Susan Rice,  believes this man (Bowe Bergdahl) “served with honor” is as much an incomprehensible lie as was the “video” tale,  told by this woman,  regarding Benghazi.

Bowe Bergdahl is both a trader to his country,  and a deserter.  Sadly,  the Administration knows all this,  and,  simply does not care.  Why?  Perhaps it is because they (the Administration) share in the Bergdahl’s disdain for our mission and military.  Logically speaking,  there is no other conclusion to be published.

Bowe Bergdahl's email, dated June 27, 2009 as reviewed by Rolling Stone:

"The future is too good to waste on lies," Bowe wrote. "And life is way too short to care for the damnation of others, as well as to spend it helping fools with their ideas that are wrong. I have seen their ideas and I am ashamed to even be american. The horror of the self-righteous arrogance that they thrive in. It is all revolting."

The e-mail went on to list a series of complaints: Three good sergeants, Bowe said, had been forced to move to another company, and "one of the biggest shit bags is being put in charge of the team." His battalion commander was a "conceited old fool." The military system itself was broken: "In the US army you are cut down for being honest... but if you are a conceited brown nosing shit bag you will be allowed to do what ever you want, and you will be handed your higher rank... The system is wrong. I am ashamed to be an american. And the title of US soldier is just the lie of fools." The soldiers he actually admired were planning on leaving: "The US army is the biggest joke the world has to laugh at. It is the army of liars, backstabbers, fools, and bullies. The few good SGTs are getting out as soon as they can, and they are telling us privates to do the same."

In the second-to-last paragraph of the e-mail, Bowe wrote about his broader disgust with America's approach to the war--an effort, on the ground, that seemed to represent the exact opposite of the kind of concerted campaign to win the "hearts and minds" of average Afghans envisioned by counterinsurgency strategists. "I am sorry for everything here," Bowe told his parents. "These people need help, yet what they get is the most conceited country in the world telling them that they are nothing and that they are stupid, that they have no idea how to live." He then referred to what his parents believe may have been a formative, possibly traumatic event: seeing an Afghan child run over by an MRAP. "We don't even care when we hear each other talk about running their children down in the dirt streets with our armored trucks... We make fun of them in front of their faces, and laugh at them for not understanding we are insulting them."
Bowe concluded his e-mail with what, in another context, might read as a suicide note. "I am sorry for everything," he wrote. "The horror that is america is disgusting."

More from the Editor:  When you listen to Bowe's father,  speaking words of sympathy for Radical Islam,  as you watch Obama,  standing to one side,  hands folded in front of him, clearly approving of the father's words,  you realize how disinterested is this Administration is waging a war against terror.

Let's never forget that it was Obama who wrote: "I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction,"  Audacity of Hope,  p. 261.   Or , words in his Cairo speech,  "Muslims have a proud tradition of tolerance,"  or,  in a Sept. 18, 2012 speech to the UN,  when he defended the fantasy video explanation for Benghazi with these words:   "The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet Mohammanid."

  1. to imagine that you are going to obsess about this as you have about Benghazi. I have to admit that you are one of the more literate whack-jobs I have come across, but it would be a mistake, on your part, to confused originality with intellectual awareness. So far and to date. I see little evidence of intellect, just innovative ways of saying the same old, tired talking points of the GOP. Apparently you would not hesitate in telling the parents of this young man, that his life and freedom were not as important as being politically correct. What a shame. Actually, what a sham.

  2. Smithson follows his marching orders dictated to him by the mental midget ideologues at Fox News and the like. He has no real independent position. He regurgitates the party line. By rule, he MUST hate Obama, climate science, environmental protection, gay rights, women's rights, etc... but give him all the guns and god in our schools and gov't and he'll be happy.

  3. Straw dogs and paper tigers - that is all you have. Indeed, I despise both the Obama's, but only because they believe in and practice the word games of "the ends justify the means." Neither are exceptionally intelligent or profound in their thinking. And both that all the fear and lies coming from their mouths is justified, that they MUST lie, if necessary," in order to put this nation on the right track.

You write of orders I receive from Fox News "and the like." But, as a point of fact, the post above these "comments" is all about what we read in Politico, YouTube, Rolling Stone, CNN and The Daily Beast to the freaking exclusion of all other sources of information . . . . . . moron.

As relates to the first comment, above, I learned the importance of obsessing over certain issues from the Left. THAT is what they do. Good strategy. And I will continue to use it.

  4. He says neither of the Obamas are exceptionally intelligent, yet he praises the intelligence of Sarah Palin and GW Bush... even devoting a blog to Palin.

    Puts him in perspective.

  5. Indeed. If either Palin or GW were president, the world would respect us, once again, our GNP would be at 3% or higher, 6 million more Americans would be working, and both know how to pronounce "corps."

  6. If Bush hadn't been fraudulently elected by the FL butterfly ballot, 9/11 would never have happened under President Gore.

  7. You all just love to rewrite history. The Flor Supreme Court was a Democrat majority in 2000. Apparently, you don't care about that fact, but it destroy's your fantasy history all by its lonesome. Not only that, but there were 8 recounts, three of them conducted by Democrat controlled media. ALL RECOUNTS gave Bush the slim victory. Bush wanted to recount the whole state. Fat Al Gore only wanted to recount the three counties with the largest Democrat populations, and that is what happened. So, go stand in front a mirror, and start laughing.
