Hunter Walker / Business Insider:
Hillary Clinton Says She Isn't ‘Truly Well Off’
— Hillary Clinton's multimillion dollar fortune has caused
some negative headlines during the media tour for the release of her new book
“Hard Choices,” which is widely seen as a prelude to a potential 2016
presidential campaign.
Editor’s notes: The point of this post
is not the debate as to whether Hillary is “well off” or not. Rather, this
is about the silliness, on the part of Hillary, in trying
to identify with the “common class.” Indeed, she and Bill
came into the White House as one of the poorest First Couples in memory. She
has not always been “privileged” in that sense. I have a very close
friend who is a millionaire today, but 10 years ago, she
was not. Recently, she told me that she has grown so
accustomed to having money, that she really has forgotten what it
was like to be without.
I suspect
this is Hillary’s situation, as well.
Such goes
to my claim that Hillary is neither charismatic or gifted with a political
instinct. Not a criticism, just an observation. If
there was a viable candidate in the Democrat Party, other than
Hillary, she would not be in the running, come
2016. And, she is quite “beatable,” if she does
runs -- depending on who runs against her, of
course.
I believe
the Obama's have made it extremely difficult for the next Democrat presidential
candidate. Michelle is as irrelevant a First Lady as there has been in
our history. She is an angry woman who can't think of anything to do
except that ridiculous "health food school diet" she is pushing.
More importantly, though, is H Obama's arrogant,
self-serving and hateful presentation as a president. We are all
tired of the lies and misinformation. While he is able to escape the
criminality of one scandal after another, there is a payday, down
the road, for all of his well-rehearsed malfeasance, and this
payday will hurt the Democrat Party as a whole. It already has.
Michelle's
food program is being rejected by one school district after another, and
H Obama can scarcely take a breath without inhaling the stench of his own
ineptness . . . . . all to Hillary's discredit . . . .
she was his Secretary of State,
after all.
Expect
her to create distance between herself and the Obama's. While she is not
a politician, her husband is, and he knows full well, that
the Obama's are a milestone around the neck of a Hillary Candidacy.
Expect to see a huge fight within the Democrat Party, between the
more sensible big government class and the Progressive Marxists (Obama,
Sharpton, the traitorous John Kerry, Warren, Pelosi,
Reid, Schumer, Dick Durbin - a de facto communist in his
own rite - and a number of others).
Let the
games begin.

ReplyDeleteThe Real Clear poll only measures "name recognition," at this point. As you probably know, but want to pretend otherwise, Hillary's approval numbers have dropped 20 points in less than 9 months. Two years from now, July of 2016, the numbers will begin to count for something. Obama's numbers are now, below those of Bush, and that is with a Compliant Media doing all it can to make things look better than they actually are.
