Editor's notes: A cut and paste from Memeorandum, a left leaning news portal used by this editor. The headline and lede are one thing; the "Discussion" is another. We have the news framed in a headline followed by the perceived importance of that news, represented by the number of publishers (Left or Right) picking up the story in the "Discussion."
With this story, we have Obama, speaking to a black, politically oriented, caucus, as he attacks the Right on the grounds of "racism" for requiring voter ID. Never mind that those in attendance had to show verifiable ID to get in the room to listen; never mind that, virtually, no news related entity "picked up" this story.
It is a non-story . . . . not the article but the event.
Understand this: Obama is busy trying to shore up his base in the face of very negative predictions about the coming elections, hardly "the news of the day."
Point of post: Just so you know and understand what is going on.
