Last year, Democrat Socialists thought they had a chance of turning Texas blue. Today? Not so much.

According to a  Public Policy Polling survey, Wendy Davis is on her way to an embarrassing defeat in her bid for Governor of Texas.  When all the numbers are in, PPP found Davis’s opponent,  Greg Abbott (R)  with a comfortable 14-point lead over Davis, 51 to 37 percent and all the trend lines for this contest,  favor the Republican.

Understand that the Democrats and Nancy Pelosi,  have targeted Texas for "conversion to a blue state."  As things stand,  today,  this goal is so far out of the realm of possibility as to be laughable.
