Understand that mccain still thinks he represents the majority opinion within the GOP in spite of the fact that with the latest congressional vote on the debt ceiling/shutdown issue, he stood with 116 party members while ted cruz represented 162 members (in both houses of congress). UnderstAND THAT WE ARE TAKING OUT PARTY BACK. DO WE NEED TO MODERATE OUR STATED VIEWS? PERHAPS, BUT FIRST THINGS FIRST. lETS ERADICATE THE 30 YEAR PROGRESSIVE MOVEMENT WITHIN THE GOP AND THEN, MODERATE OR REDEFINE OUR STATED OPINIONS . . . . . IF NEEDS BE. IN STEAD OF OUR SIDE SUGGESTING THAT "NOW" IS THE TIME FOR A THIRD PARTY, LET THE LOSERS WITHIN THE GOP ENTER THAT CONVERSATION. AFTER ALL, "THEY" CANNOT WIN A NATIONAL ELECTION WITHOUT THE CONSERVATIVE VOTE; 2006, 2008 AND 2012 PROVE THE POINT WITH THE LANDSLIDE, WAVE ELECTION OF 2010 WON BY THE TEAPARTY SIDE OF THE AISLE AS POSITIVE PROOF THAT WE WILL REMAIN A STRONG POLITICAL INFLUENCE. iF WE OWN BOTH HOUSES OF CONGRESS AND THE PRESIDENCY IS A PERPETUAL POSSESSION OF THE PROGERESSIVE/SOCIALIST, THEN "THEY' WILL HAVE TO ACTUALLY COMPROMISE WITH OUR SIDE. AT PRESENT, THEIR VERSION OF "COMPROMISE" NEVER WORKS AGAINST THEIR PHILOSOPHICAL OPINION. oUR COMPROMISE ALWAYS DOES. tHAT HAS TO CHANGE AND "THEY" HATE THAT FACT.

John McCain won't run for president again, despite 'spate' of requests for it
“Particularly since the shutdown, I’ve had a spate of e-mails and letters and phone calls saying, ‘Run for president again,’ ” McCain told The Arizona Republic. “As you know, I’m seriously thinking about running for re-election to the Senate. But I think, in the words of the late Morris K. Udall, as far as my presidential ambitions are concerned, ‘The people have spoken — the bastards.’”While it's big of him to acknowledge that the people have spoken on this one already, does he really think many people are actually urging a two-time loser to run for president when he's 80? Again: There's flattery, and then there are things people are serious about.
