Problem: the website he
used had serious issues and a host of Disciples could not hear the Slickster
give his address. That “200,000” number
could have been as little as 60,000, with only a fraction of that number
actually willing to do the volunteer work Obama hopes they might do. The point being this: his little army of volunteers is not what it
once was, and nowhere close to what he
claims it to be.
At the height of his popularity (pre-election 2008), Obama’s army of volunteers, those expressly charged with the effort of “getting
out the vote” via modern day media strategies,
numbered around 13,000. To believe
that he now owns 200,000 workers is as big a fantasy as is his notion that the
American people will flock to the Democrat Party because of ObamaCare.
His phone call, last
evening, demonstrates the desperation
being experienced within the Administration.
In their dreams, the Progressive
Congressional Majority believed that
when ObamaCare became law, Americans
would flock to its website and, within the
first 30 days, more than 1 million
Americans would sign up. We know
this, because “they” projected that within
6 months (end of March, 2014), ObamaCare
would see 7 million enrollees . . . .
. or, 1.16 million signees per
month. Turns out that the ObamaCare site
had 27 ,000 enrollees. More than this,
more than 900,000 made it to the site,
but left without enrolling.
What is most humorous to this editor is the fact that Obama's phone call to "hundreds of thousands" of his youthful supports failed, in large measure, because of technical issues with the website.
At any rate, with this bunch of techno-crates in and around our White House, their abilities are proven to be in serious default, an army of volunteers firing blanks at a time when our revenge oriented president is trying to close in on his "fundamental transformation" of these United States.
