Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius
discusses the federal health care overhaul during a panel discussion at
Cincinnati State Technical and Community College, Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2013, in
Cincinnati.
For the first month alone, the Obama administration
projected that nearly a half million people world sign up for the new health
insurance markets, according to an internal memo obtained by The Associated
Press. But that was before the markets opened to a cascade of computer
problems. (AP Photo/Al Behrman). Turns out that a memo leaked to the
press, tells us that only 36,000, nation wide,
have signed up for the program.
No one knows how many have made an inquiry or attempted such, but we do know that traffic to the government
site receiving applicants has dropped off by more than 80%.
The government projected 7 millions applicants in the first
year. No one seems to know how many of
that 7 million are need to keep the program from imploding. This editor believes that “implosion” has
already happened.
The phrase, “Silence is golden” may not be true in this
case. There is an obvious command from
Der Leader to go dark on giving information to the media . . . . . .
a very bad sign.
