Some folks are using ObamaCare as their crisis insurance, and plan to take out a policy only after they become ill or hurt in an accident . . . meet John Nolte.

John Nolte wrote a brief op-ed published in Breitbart.com,  in which he stated his decision as to future strategies regarding ObamaCare.

He does not intend to take out a policy at this time.  He is 47,  has a family,  and is healthy.  Since ObamaCare cannot refuse a person for pre-existing conditions or charge anyone back payments,  Nolte can use the government as his crisis insurance,  taking out a policy only after he becomes critically ill or has an accident.  Until then,  he does not need insurance.

To avoid paying a fine,  he had his employer revise his W-4 and no longer pays more taxes that are actually owed  . . .  all of which is legal,  by the way.   Understand that unless you are owed a tax refund,  the IRS cannot penalize you.  It cannot collect garnished payments nor can it prosecute the individual  -  all this according to the law,  itself.

As an aside,  I personally support the underground economy  --  paying everyone who does work for me,  in my retirement,  “under the table.”  I am in the system,  so paying taxes that feed my able bodied but lazy neighbor,  is no option.

So,  “hats off to John Nolte,”  for thinking with brain instead of being driven by fear or anger.
