CNN Poll: GOP; tea party
unfavorables at all-time highs
— Washington (CNN) - A
new national poll provides more evidence of the political hit the Republican
Party, the tea party movement, and House Speaker John Boehner took over the
government shutdown. — According to a CNN/ORC International …
Editor’s
notes: And what, pray tell,
was the shutdown all about? It
was about the principled constituency within the GOP and their opposition to
the so-called Affordable Care Act. Their
opposition was based on the well published fact (by the Left as well as the
Right) that ObamaCare was not ready for prime-time, that it was a train wreak coming down the
tracks.
The fact that the media has been able to twist the GOP’s
ultimate goal and the sound reasoning behind it, is that which gives us the unpopularity of
the GOP and the teaparty types. In
time, in due time, it will be painfully obvious that the
conservative opposition was correct.
As you well know, the
“roll-out” of ObamaCare is as bad as things can be. And now,
Obama is claiming that he did not know of all the issues facing down
ObamaCare - too busy completing his 147 visit to the
links? “147” trips, golfing, is about 4 solid months not including
weekends, of playing games while the world
and this country goes to hell. His wife
has taken more than 20 multi-week vacations and neither will accept ObamaCare
as their personal pathway to insurance coverage. He has exempted himself and, yet, some who read this blog, will continue to vote for the likes of Obama
and his Socialist/Progressive Party.
Point
of post: Teaparty opposition
to ObamaCare and its willingness to leverage raising the debt ceiling, will prove to have been the best course of
action. There is something redeeming
when others realize that you were right all along.
