Out of the Washington
Times, we have this report: Republican Congressman Peter King said
Monday it is time to take the gloves off and call out members of his own party
by name, after a failed strategy to defund Obamacare appeared to diminish the
GOP’s reputation in recent polls.
Mr. King, of New York, said he’s not going to take it
anymore and will freely criticize freshman Sen. Ted Cruz, Texas Republican, who
led the drive to scrap the health care law as a precondition for a spending
deal ahead of Oct. 1.
“Ted Cruz and 30 or 40 people in the House. We have to start
going after him by name. … It’s really time to speak out against him,” Mr. King
told MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.”
Editor’s notes: I
have ignored this nutbag for months, but,
now, he really is getting under my skin. The ”40” he
references, is not just a number he
pulled out of thin air. Rather, it is the approximate number of teaparty
supporters in the House.
The short end of my retort is this:
Try winning a national election without us Right Wing Conservatives.
The longer version involves efforts “off-blog” to register my complaint with this RINO and do what I can to raise awareness against this wind-bag’s hateful performance. He threatens to "call these people out” as if they are hiding, somewhere, out of sight and out of mind.
Just as King must appease his base in the very liberal/socialist New York State, so too must conservative House members, the alleged “40,” represent those folks who sent them to D.C. But if King does not recognize the unavoidable divide that originates within the ranks of the voting public, then it is time for those who have held their peace, to work to neutralize this man’s influence and defeat him in the next election, even if his replacement is an admitted socialist . . . . . . I really don't care anymore.
