The real problem is this: after thousands of speeches and 150 trips to links, this nation is in an administrative funk, across the board. Obama has no clue how to manage the affairs of State, and he won't ask for help, and he thinks we don't know.

<<<  As if his administrative failures were not enough,  this clown in our White House took time to create a new "American Flag"   . . .  no borders,  9 strips instead of 13 [representing our colonial heritage] and Obama's symbol for Central Government in the place of the 50 state Union we know an love.  

Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senators John McCain (R-Ariz.) and Carl Levin (D-Mich.), Ranking Member and Chairman of the U.S. Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, today released the following new information about the February 2013 release of ICE detainees with criminal records:

In February 2013, in a misguided effort to comply with anticipated budget cuts due in part to sequestration, without explanation or warning, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials released from custody 2,226 detainees into communities across the country. In response to requests for information by the Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations (PSI), the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), after a three month delay and under threat of a possible subpoena, finally disclosed details about those releases. DHS disclosed that, as part of the larger release, it freed 622 detainees with criminal records, including 32 with multiple felony convictions.  

Editor's notes:  when this happened,  back in February,  Jay Carney made it clear that none of the released illegals had criminal records,  that they were only being released using alternative means of "tracking."  Turns out,  622 had criminal records and had been released "by mistake,"  according to news stories on Thursday.  

Isn't it amazing.  This Administration cannot go a single week without some sort of scandal.  If nothing more,  we now know that Obama cannot manage  the federal agencies over which he has charge.  

Take a look,  a brief look,  at some of the across-the-board failings of this Administration:  

EPA decisions to regulate coal and general land use  have been stricken down by federal courts,  including the Supreme Court. 

His Department of Labor has lost both lawsuits dealing with his illegal appointments to the Labor Relations Board. 

Kathleen Sebelius,  head of Health and Human Services,  is now trying to fund ObamaCare via voluntary donations from the wealthy.  Can you imagine it:  the largest entitlement program in the history of the world,  and the Dems are trying to fund it via voluntary donations !!!  

Obama's Justice Department and Eric Withholder,  have choked on Fast and Furious,  voter fraud enforcement, the prosecution of John Corzein for investor fraud  (in the MF Global case),  the illegal seizure of AP media records,  and on and on.  

His State Department and its head,  Hillary "What difference does it make" Clinton,  have no clue how Benghazi happened and is currently in "extreme cover-up" mode. 

His green energy "investment"  program has seen more than 20 green companies file for bankruptcy.  He has failed to create a new power grid  -  a promise from the 2008 campaign.  And the 6,000 or so,  permanent green jobs created by this clown,  in the past four years,  have cost the tax payer 11 million per job,  according to best estimates.  

He has doubled food stamp enlistments and has watched as more than 20% all Medicare expenses goes to funding fraud,  within this particular entitlement program. 

His signature financial legislation,  "Dodd/Frank,"  has not been fully written and does not include its primary legislative structure,  the so-called "Volcher Rule."  This, two years after the bill was passed into law.  We not don't read our laws before passage,  we don't even finish writing the damn things before passage.   

His trillion dollar "stimulus"  (2009) did absolutely nothing to help the economy. 

His efforts concerning "global warming" are a dismal failure,  thank gawd.

ICE just released 622 convicted immigrants "by mistake"  and took three months to tell the world.  

And look at the mess we know as ObamaCare.  Prominent Democrats such as the retiring Max Baucus and Harry Reid,  both agree,  "Without emergency funding,  ObamaCare is a train wreck in the making" or words to that effect.  

And,  to think,  we have two years to go,  before the "lame duck" season settles in around this clown.  Turns out,  Obama is not a lame duck,  it is just a duck.
