The
amendment likely to be at the front of the line is one from Sens. Joe Manchin,
D-W.Va., and Pat Toomey, R-Pa., which would scale back the call for universal

Neither does the bill ban "assault" weapons and will not
open the door to universal registration and/or gun confiscation nor require
liability insurance coverage. All in all, it is not that
bad, and will continue to allow a great deal of freedom for gun owners.
