Understand that the above is a fairly typical picture of the
ratings war -- except for Greta. Typically she runs in the
2.8 million range and O'Donnell runs closer to a 2.65 average. O'Donnell
will win the evening 2 out of 5 nights. If Hannity is not running a
special broadcast, he and Maddow trade nights. She has never run over 4
million. Hannity seldom does, but when that happens, he can
run well into the 6 million range.
O'Reilly destroys the Ed Show, and The Five does
likewise to Chris Matthews. In fact, The Five is the fastest growing news
oriented show on cable and frequently beats out all of the Fox line-up except
the 8pm O'Reilly show.
Total daytime/primetime viewing for MSNBC is 19 million.
Fox airs to an afternoon/prime line-up of 23.5 million. CNN has
improved, of late, and airs to around 16 folks per weekday
night.
Fox leads all cable news for the 11th year in a row.
Rachel Maddow owns the fastest growing show NOT on Fox.
Understand that the world of the Revenge Left (there are
many Democrats who do not fit into this demographic, but remain silent
for the same reasons non-violent Muslims remain silent in the face of a growing
Muslim Jihad) is all about victory and never simply about
leadership. They function like children on a playground, bent on bullying
others to do their wishes. And when they win an election, it is
beer and pizza time, and the consummate "We won, we beat you
silly" celebration. Of course, when they lose, they
pretend that did not happen.
The contrast between the two networks is startling.
You simply cannot listen to 10 minutes of MSNBC without hearing an attack
against FoxNews. By contrast, you can listen to a 24 hour broadcast
day on Fox and hear less than 30 seconds with "MSNBC" embedded
in the conversation.
